Amazing view and lovely township

Access to the hotel was extremely difficult. Roads blocked with bolards and one way streets.

Hotel location in the heart of where we wanted to stay. One of the best breakfasts for a 3* property in Europe. Dinner at their restaurant: very good as well. Room size: acceptable by Netherlands standards. Personelle: awesome. Parking: A five minute walk to the property ( located in pedestrian only area ).

The only negative is that the bed was much too soft for my taste. .

Excellent location in old town. Friendly staf and great restaurant.

It is a clean basic room. Don't expect too much. The diner in the restaurant was very good and most of the staff was very friendly.

But what we did not liked, and more people with us, that not all windows can be opened. There was a basic ventilator, but you need fresh air! It was known upfront that there was no airco. You cannot drive with your car up to the hotel/restaurant, but a parking place is approx. 8 min. walk.

Love volendam I did find that if you didnt have all meals and drinks in that premises it was excepted , the bedroom very small

Room was basic but comfortable and as I expected but with awesome view over the harbour. Breakfast was HUGE - great!staff were very helpful/friendly.

Only free parking overnight was about 10 minute walk off "Slobbeland" - just need to know that if you are visiting with a car.

We didn’t know most restaurants close by 530 in April. Thankfully, we found one. Or you can eat at the hotel. Plan ahead. A wonderful town!

The room was very small with no shelf space to unpack your bags.

Wonderful location, near the lake front. Close to everything. Basic accommodation. but perfect for a short stay. Very good restaurant. WiFi worked. Very touristy place, but also many interesting thins around - Volendam Museum with amazing 'rooms' made of cigar bands, scenes from everyday life in The Netherlands in the past, small cheese museum, waffle demonstration, presentation on how wooden clogs are made, ferry trip t Marken and walks around the town. It was amazing trip.

We could have the street?water view, but we didn't. But it's all right, we practically didn't spend time in the room. Shower caps and electric kettle are always welcome!:))
