My GF and I stayed on the "Shrimp" room with our little pup..and had the best time! Tiny space, perfect for two people that like each other! The "cabin" was well equipped, beautifully decorated and the bed was comfy enough. Open the door and you're a few feet from the water. Don't miss the sunrises...our first morning there was spectacular. The cute comfy chairs out front was the perfect spot to have our morning coffee. You can see dolphins and manatees swimming out in the lagoon. One morning there was a manatee right by the dock..steps from the front door! The place was quiet, and very relaxing. We used the grill..and it worked great. There is a great seafood restaurant walking distance down the road as well as a cute waterfront picnic area. Good communication from owner, and she was very nice. We will be back..with our boat, as soon as we can. Fyi, There is no pool or hot tub, the noseeums were brutal, be prepared. We expected them...being by the water and all. Also, there was no sign by the door that indicated it was the Shrimp room.

It was a little smaller than we thought but it worked out perfect for my husband and I. Very clean inside the air unit definitely kept us comfortable in there which was a plus!! What we would love most is that it was quite and away from everything!!

Such a quaint, clean, very small place with friendly hosts. Tight quarters as expected.

Clean, well supplied, nice neighborhood with a great local restaurant and Seminole Rest National Park within walking distance.

Loved our stay in the shrimp room. Clean and cozy. The room is small but has everything you need. One step out the door and you are on the dock. Amazing sunrise views. Loved watching the birds and dolphins swim around. Christine the manager was friendly and fast to respond to any questions I had. Already have plans to return. 😊

Owners are extremely friendly and offered to provide for all our needs. Great trip.

This is not a one bedroom but a small studio. The bed fills the majority of the space, and is so tight the edge of the bed is a trip hazard. Very clean. Location is nice and right on the water’s edge. The owners never answered my initial note. At about 10 PM there was a knock on the door from someone claiming they had a reservation for this room. The owners were not responding to him.

We only had a few days to our stay, but it was a great location, and clean & comfortable! We can’t Wait to stay again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the shrimp cabin. The view from the door is breathtaking. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here and hope to book again someday soon.

I hesitate to write this great review in fear we won’t get to stay there again .. that’s why we booked 2 more stays before we even left the property. Super friendly people, great food very close, beautiful view! We wished we had booked a couple extra days on this trip.

Great location

This property is on a great setting with docks and the ability to launch a small boat. There was room to park my 24 foot trailer which is a major hassle and cost most places. I did not look close enough at description but it is very small with basically a table and 2 chairs, a comfy bed and bathroom. The good thing is outside there are nice chairs to view the water which counts as a living room in my book.

The property is owned by a couple that also own the RV park next door and the shop on the corner of the main road. Communication was poor and they are fairly nonresponsive. When I tried to check-in they had decided to put me in another room but gave the information for the old room. When I tried calling nothing, msg on the app, nothing. After an hour and a half of tracking someone down finally the husband acted like I was an idiot and said to just talk to his wife. She finally figured out the issue told me a bunch of numbers in the middle of a crowded store, when I asked to text the information she said sure but never did. The place is small and there is a resident RV there that blasts his TV most the day. It does have gas grills but they were completely out of gas. I picked up a knife in the kitchen and it was broken at the hilt. So romantic getaway it is not but convenient for fishing it is.

We took this trip for our anniversary we were upgraded due to another customer staying longer and it was the best thing that could have ever happened to us we had the best time we brought our boat we seen dolphins and the neighbors were fantastic one of them even gave me some crabs to cook while we were there we will definitely be coming back!

The Shrimp Cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people who are looking for a great view from their front porch and/or fishing off the dock. The cabin was a bit smaller than we expected (from the pictures) but it was more than adequate with all the necessities for a weekend getaway for us. There is a great restaurant that is walking distance down the street and the cabin is about a 20 min drive into New Smyrna Beach.
