It was spacious, well appointed and quiet. The instructions provided were very clear and helpful.

Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and handily located close to the city centre. The host was very accommodating and we would highly recommend the property to friends visiting Chester. 5 star!

The beds were so comfy, and the house was very homely.

There was no frosted glass in the bathroom door for when you were showering or using the toilet

Lovely cottage. Large lounge and kitchen with dining table. Fabulous beds. Great for walking into Chester.

Breakfast was not as anticipated. Just some individual cereals and biscuits in a basket.

Such a lovely cosy, comfortable house. More spacious that I expected with beautiful finishes throughout. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back.

Location, cosy, warm, very clean.

Said it came with breakfast, disappointed as it was 5 small boxes of cereal, and 5 small packs of porridge. There were 6 of us for 2 nights. ,

The property was ideally placed to walk into Chester and it was great not to use the cars during our stay. The house was very well furnished, clean and was warm and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Loved the location - very close to the centre of Chester The cottage itself was very homely and spacious The owners kindly put a tree up for us for our stay over xmas The local area was lovely - the local pub, church etc

A very narrow one way street so parking a bit tight especially for a 7 seater car. Cleaner missed the toilet in main bathroom so that was not a welcoming site. The upstairs toilet had a leak so out of use for us for last 24hrs. The dial on the cooker does not have numbers so made Xmas dinner pretty challenging to prepare - but we managed it!

Great location on a nice quiet street and only a short walk into the centre. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for us all.

Minor issues Door sticks in the on suite bathroom. Continental breakfast was sparse, provided cereals but no milk. But a lovely place

Parking is on a narrow street and is hit or miss if you get to park outside the property so free parking is misleading in the title, oven needs replacing or attention, one oven turns off and knob on other oven is worn so you can’t see the temperature

Very warm without heating on, comfy beds, nice breakfast basket, sky tv, quiet location, highchair and travel cot, free toiletries and other items..home from home.

Shower groutings black in places, oven only went to 160° then turned off, and second oven dials couldnt be read as too worn, thermostat left on floor in 1st floor bedroom, pictures all on a slant!!, door key very hard to open door from inside, pictures on website make it look 'perfect' but obviously not 100° as its been let out for a while but it was ok overall. Kitchen floor didnt look that clean. Only massive downside for me was the narrow street as my car was badly damaged by a non-local resident who tried to 3 point turn and damaged 3 cars in total, he was caught which was good, neigbours came to the rescue

enjoyed the location and that it had 3 separate bedrooms. Good facilities, free parking and walking distance to town centre.

a mirror in the master suite would be beneficial. Check out time of 10am is quite early with a family when you have to cook breakfast, clean up, put everything away and get a family ready and packed up to go. Kitchen floor hadn’t been mopped for our arrival, our socks and feet were filthy from it.

noisy beds, creaked with slightest movement, so didn’t sleep very well.

The house was lovely, clean and comfy. The road was very quiet.

I got locked in the top bathroom! The catch is very stiff. I wish we had had a later check out.

free parking shouldn’t be really advertised as you are not given a space, it is a free for all and you just hope that you can park your vehicle
