Everything was good. The pool are especially is really nice. Above all the staff was very helpful. I forgot my pants in the hotel after we left and they were very quick to answer me and organize a drive so I could get them back.

You feel like at home! It is a real home! The breakfast and the quality of all foods from the hotel restaurant is on the highest. The room and all the facilities (nice relaxing places, sunbeds. The shower outside of the room under the palm trees is superb with a real wellness feeling experience. The pool was crystal-clear and the temperature was amazing. The garden well maintained and got umbrella. The staff is unbelievable kind and professional. The beach just 1 minute walk from the hotel . The reef-tour(which is complementary) where you could meet the sea animals was very interesting! The hotel offer free village tour for long stay guest as my friend was there for a week.

Staffs is very welcoming and kind. We had excellent juices on arrival. They did everything for us to make our trip better and the staff was very flexible on all request (bedcot, check out). Very nice location, nice pool and large appartment. Very nice to stay here and enjoy matemwe as a family. Highly recommended hotel.

The bank terminal was not working so we cannot enjoy to buy other juices etc. But apparently it was only temporary.

The staff was excellent. We had a birthday and they arranged a cake and a location at the roof for us. Shout out to Stellah and Salma for making our stay perfect.

We had the entire place to ourselves and we could smoke in the room we were in. The rooftop terrace is absolutely perfect to watch the stars and perfect to enjoy at during the day and night

The welcome drink was OK. The rooms themselves are big, nice and clean. The pool looked good though we couldn't use it due to the rainy weather. The beach is nice to take a walk but swimming isn't its strength. There is a roof deck with a nice view. This is a high-rise which isn't as good as an area with bungalows, but that's perhaps a question of taste.

Tries to come across as a five star hotel but doesn't live up to the aspiration. They wanted a copy of our passports even though they couldn't explain why. They asked us to sign a form that wasn't even filled out. Rounding and change was a problem. The TV set is practically a dummy. The minibar didn't exist. The windows had gaps but even though there were no mosquito nets you should be safe from mosquitos if you are on the higher levels. The "Do not disturb"-sign doesn't actually fit the door handle. GPS coordinates are wrong - we had to search a lot. The pipes weren't maintained properly and produced some nasty odor. Breakfast was OK but quite limited. There are two WiFis with the same name which block each other. For a hotel which claims "finest hospitality" and which was the most expensive accommodation we had in Zanzibar that is not enough.

Although I had a reservation for 6 nights, I only stayed one night, otherwise I would ruin my whole vacation. The restaurant had been expecting a lot for a long time, although there were no other tourists, a bad smell in the whole hotel, totally unqualified staff. This is the first time I have had to write negative reviews. They haven't refunded us even now.

The location was good and cozy new rooms.The staffs were also friendly Halima,Stella and the girl at the counter.Since we went for our honey moon Stella prepared a nice decorated room with flowers.Nice swimming pool and the hotel was like 100m close to matemwe beach.

A beautifully designed garden with a pool, an oasis! The building is well planned, the interior was well designed. Nice spacious balcony, and the view from the balcony was just amazing!

There was no lift in the building but we heard that soon there will be.

All over great place to be and friendly staff ... Everything was exceptional and most staff members that I encountered were willing to help around! The room was spacious, the view was beautiful & the bed was nice and comfortable . Amenities were amazing too . I highly think this hotel would be the best place to have break ☺️

We spend 3 days in this hotel during my visit to Zanzibar and I really loved it. The amazing white sand beach is just 2 minutes away from the hotel. Very warm and humble approach by all staff,this makes you feel more than home. Great breakfast and delicious meal. We had a wonderful stay and would surely love to stay again in future. Loved it.

"Everything was as shown in the pictures. Very clean, nice and cozy rooms with great views overlooking the sea, the garden and easy beach access. The A.C, WIFI, T.V, Shower etc were perfectly working well. I felt very secure and comfortable. HOME AWAY FROM HOME. From the very warm welcome by the manager Mr. Rashid and friendly interactions with the staff who were very helpful, good food, relaxing on the roof top enjoying the sea breeze as the sun rise and sets, i really enjoyed the stay. The pool was very nice as well though i didn't get to use it but it's really big. All these and more exceeded my expectations which made my trip more memorable. Thank you guys. You are definitely more than 4 STAR SERVICE........Returning back again with my family and friends". Highly Recommended.

The hotel is new! I was reluctant to book this hotel, since here were no reviews at all, but to be honest, I liked everything in this hotel, it really exceeded my expectation. especially: friendly and helpful staffs, quiet and clean environment, clean pool, free wifi and the most important thing is the variety of delicious food, prepared quickly and at affordable price😘😘. Room~Cozy room, comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, closet, minifridge, a safe box, a studying table, free bottle of water everyday, rooms are cleaned everyday!!-with large windows showing stunning view of the ocean and the matemwe village. The hotel furnished with local coconut tree woods, which look nice in the eyes. The hotel located in Matemwe village (less than a minute to the beach) which gives the real life/culture of Zanzibaris, you can roam around the village/beach and see the living style of Matemwe families, as they merely depend in fishing. I recommend Zanoceanique hotel for everyone. I enjoyed my stay and do really hope I'll come again someday😍😍😘 Cheersxx

For sure everthing was fine, nothing bothered me during my stay, apart from the fact that the hotel does not sell any sort of alcohol😐, but you can buy beers on nearby shops, the hotel does not restrict the guests to enter the premise with the beer, which was fine for me!
