I rented this house months in advance through VRBO, but the experience was a disaster. The day after the cancellation period ended, I received an email with a bizarre, non-negotiable contract. The timing was clearly intentional, forcing us to sign or lose our money. When I spoke to the property manager, he was dismissive. The deposit process was suspicious. Despite paying for the entire rental by credit card, they refused to accept a deposit through the same method. Instead, they insisted on a non-bank app transfer, which raised red flags. I even offered to pay in cash, but they demanded their specific method, claiming it was the only way to guarantee the return of my deposit. When we arrived, we were excited to see the property, but the person who met us was incredibly rude. He couldn't be bothered to give us a proper tour and just yelled at us to follow him around so he could leave quickly. The house itself was a huge disappointment. The pictures in the listing are completely misleading. They are staged, doctored, and/or old. The house is on a busy four-lane street, and we found two dead cockroaches inside. The interior looked like a worn-out fraternity house. The pool had plaster holes, the screening was destroyed, and there was no outside seating other than a metal table. Overall, I feel deceived and ripped off. This property is not accurately represented in the listing, and the management clearly doesn't care. AVOID!

Fantastic property and location, ideal location for Hollywood beach and restaurants. House itself is great, we were a family of six with two teens and two younger children, everyone loved it. Jc the house manager was great to deal with and everything went smoothly

Firstly, I have stayed at many short term rentals and this has been the worst experience. Once you book through vrbo, you are hounded by the owner and the property manager to pay an additional $500 as security deposit which i dont understand why you have to if vrbo already has it. Next you are asked to provide a credit card number, a picture of your credit card and license. Also asked to sign a document which states you authorize the owner to charge the credit card for anything. I refused to do this and they said i would not be allowed to enter the property. I still refused to do it online and said i could do it on a physical copy before entering the property. Once I arrived at Fort Lauderdale and clearly communicated to the property manager when I was in the uber to the property etc and he said someone would be there to meet me. Arrive at the property and no one and was asked to wait outside for 15-20 mins in the night. Told him, I felt unsafe to stand outside on my own and told him so but was shouted at and said I have no choice No dishwasher soap was provided and on asking the property manager, he said they would drop it off but they didnt do that either. House overall was ok. But the experience of checking in/out and dealing with the staff was a terrible experience. The whole point of vrbo is to streamline this and I dont need to pay anything separately Would not recommend this place at all

A very spacious home for the entire family. Private pool area was great for all of the family. Located on a busy street, but neighborhood was quiet.

The place is just as advertised.. plenty room for big groups loved our stay there highly recommended.
