This home is absolutely beautiful! Clean, spacious, quiet, calm and has wonderful amenities. It is a delight for those who appreciate an artist's touch and those seeking a healing and sacred space to recharge and renew. An absolute gem!

My daughter & I came out to the west coast for the first time mainly to see her husband who is at 29 palms marine base. We selected this spot as it seemed perfect for us to stay, relax and, explore the west coast a bit. The entire property was so artistically decorated & clean. Communication with Travis was on point & check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, creative & clean spot to get away.

I needed a few days break from Los Angeles and found the perfect retreat here. I was by myself for this trip, so the home was much more than I alone needed, but offered everything I wanted and needed.
It was close enough to other homes and town in case of needs or emergency but also perfectly quiet and serene, a huge reason for travelling to the desert. And extra close to the park, so easy for waking early to do a sunrise hike.
The property feels actually quite spacious, but intimate, with extra comfy bed, coffee making options, streaming options and... hammocks! and hot tub! and porch swing! Lovely grounds to watch the birds and, during my visit, multiple families of baby bunnies! Creative nooks for quiet relaxation abound. And the artwork and nature tokens and treasures are a feast for the eyes inside.
The remote for the mood lighting is incredible. Many color options to fit the moment. So peaceful, relaxing and inspiring all at once. Many thanks!!!
P.S. I hit a wrong button on the television remote and was blocked out and lost. Being alone and technically challenged, this was a big problem. Texted and Travis came by shortly to correct the issue. What service and care. I could have lived without the t.v. but Greatly appreciated the quick help!
Will be staying here again asap.

Thoroughly enjoyed this property. Secluded and scenic location, yet close to JT Park entrance and local eateries, shopping, and entertainment. House immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated with tasteful and unique decor. Many eclectic and artful items sprinkled inside and outside the house. Loved the multicolor lighting in just about every room. Relaxed on back patio and enjoyed the hot tub as weather temps were a little cool. House has a comfortable, yet energizing vibe. Would definitely stay here again!

The VRBO description and photos are very accurate, and the location is even better. We stayed one week at Travis' house so that we could enjoy a good number of hikes in the desert (which is wonderful in April). The drive to the west entrance is only 12-15 minutes, and so we could start early, avoid crowds, and return each afternoon to enjoy the hot tub, exceptional rooms and landscaped yards and to cook our meals in the well-furnished kitchen and to watch the stars each evening. We have stayed at many VRBO homes, and this one is certainly among the very best. I hope we can return soon,

We are very pleased with our stay here and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The house was clean, beautifully furnished with a boho vibe and was a very short drive to JTNP. We appreciated having everything we needed to cook at home (including gas grill), as there’s not much in the way of ‘eating out’ in JT. Communication with Travis was on point and immediate. I even got to learn a new skill - French pressed coffee, which I loved! If we ever find ourselves out this way again, this would be our first choice. Much love from Chi Town - thank you for an amazing experience Travis!!

Of all my (around 10-15) short term rentals so far, this was absolutely the best. The property itself is immaculate and clearly decorated with attention and love. The outdoor areas in particular are extraordinarily well appointed, allowing for varied experiences (swingset, couch, tables and chairs, hottub etc.) making stay within the home extremely pleasurable. The kitchen is very well equipped and house is well stocked for large parties (we were only 2). Cleanness and maintenance inside and out is impeccable.
Access to JT for hiking is easy, and host responsiveness was "immediate".
There is no question that if when head to Joshua Tree the next time, this will be the first choice if available.

Very nice host. Nice property. Needed to figure out the geating a bit but thats on me....froze until i did. Nice hot tu...very warm...jets...although wife wanted jets a bit stronger.... It might have just needed an adjustment.... 2 nice bedrroms, well kept.... i thought mattresses fine...wife a bit not so.... nice amenities ....tv, games, books, etc.... I loved the place. I loved Joshua Tree. My wife, more a city slicker.....

This is an extremely comfortable and stylish mid-modern home in Yucca Valley. Everything was very clean with a cozy modern/boho vibe. We really enjoyed the chill mood lighting the house specializes in during the evening. Also the star gazing from a clean and uncomplicated hot tub was fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements. It’s close to Joshua tree hiking, and not that far from the Noah Purifoy art park. We had dinner down the road at spaghetti western and watched a movie on comfortable sofas.Travis was warm, communicative and thorough. I’ve stayed in many vrbo’s in the desert that were hit or miss so it’s awesome to know this beautiful little home exists for future visits!

This is such a gem of a place. Nothing lacking, well stocked kitchen, very clean and nicely appointed. The front yard was a delight with a swing and table and chairs. The backyard with a wonderful hot tub, two hammocks and several places to sit and just relax. My sister and I just loved this place, we felt so at home. And then there is the owner Travis, he was always available for questions about restaurants, directions, and hiking. His kindness and availability was the icing on the cake.
So….no need to keep searching, if your looking for a place next to Joshua Tree, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

The house was clean and well stocked. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and such a treat after a day of hiking. The property is in a perfect location. We would definitely stay again!

Star gazing in the hot tub was phenomenal. The beds and couches are comfortable, all of the appliances work well, the outdoor space is great. A wonderful house for a getaway in the desert. Travis does a great job and is easy to communicate with and very responsive.

I highly recommend Travis’ Joshua Tree home. It’s comfortable, quiet, and clean. The location is also great (close to the park and town). I love the landscaping around the house and saw so many rabbits enjoying the garden. I’d never spent any time in the desert over the summer and recommend that too.

One of the best houses I have ever stayed in. The house is absolutely perfectly located to explore Joshua Tree and has all the essentials to come back and relax and watch the sunset and/or see the stars... and it has a hot tub! You will not be disappointed if you stay here

This house is amazingly charming. Very clean, very comfortable, well appointed kitchen and living areas. Excellent location for visiting JTNP and surrounding areas. Our host, Travis, was very helpful and responsive to my questions. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the second half of our little vacation awaited elsewhere.

The location of this property was perfect. Quick drive to local restaurants and not far at all from the entrance of the park. We loved the hot tub after the long hikes in the park. The owner left some super useful guide books which helped us immensely. Quiet, clean and great vibe! Loved all the art work in and around the property! We’ll be back!

This house was literally perfect and peaceful, it was very clean. The backyard is insane and even the stars at night are just amazing, I would highly recommend anybody to go to this house. The beds were comfortable they were clean. We were using the grill and the kitchen to cook food and it was just perfect. There’s a window in the kitchen overlooking the mountains and that really did blow my mind. I had no problems at all.

We visited Joshua Tree for Spring break with our 2 kids and this home was the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature and explore the desert landscape. We loved all the art and sitting areas both inside and out of the home. We had everything we needed, and the kids really enjoyed the board games. Also, the beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, something that’s often overlooked. We really hope to return again someday! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This place was great! Super relaxing and Travis was super helpful and responsive with anything we needed. He provided us with some great restaurant recommendations and gave us a lot of info about the area. The house is super artsy and unique and overall just a great space that’s very close to the park!

This property was so fun to stay at. The kitchen was well stocked, the decor was a ton of fun, and the star gazing in the hot tub was one of the most relaxing experience of my life. The location is perfect––you're close to town, but feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, with a great sunset spot a quick walk away. Travis was incredibly helpful and communicative. I would recommend this house to anyone!

Close to everything, but far enough away that it was peacefully quiet. The home was lovely and very clean. The host was very communicative and promt in replying. I enjoyed the hot tub and a nap in the hammock. There were plenty of pots, pans, and dishes to cook a nice meal made from fresh produce at the local farmers market (Saturday). It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Thank you!
