Clean condo, with great location.

It was a great location with a great view and close to the beach. The condo was dated and had a musty smell. The bed was comfortable but the recliner had coils pushing up. It needed a pillow on the seat to sit on it. Pool and tiki bar were excellent. Great fun staff! We would stay there again but updates are definitely needed to the condo.

We had a great vacation even with the construction. The beds were fantastic.! I wish I would’ve known it was under construction because we had to go get our car detailed after we left because of all the overspray from sanding and painting. It appeared the construction is almost done, so I would highly recommend staying there. We definitely would book again It would have been five stars without the construction.

Beautiful rooms. Comfy beds. Nicely decorated. 2 balconies and right on the beach. Very clean. We will likely go back. Pool was great! Only thing and it's not huge is we couldn't get TV channels we like when we were in the night. There were a good amount tho. We loved it ♥️♥️♥️

The pictures on the site are true to the room appearance. It was nice to have the (2) bathrooms and beds were comfortable. The lock for the door is digital so no key was required but entering the code was not intuitive. Contacted the owners and they responded very quickly to help. Things to improve, install a gooseneck shower arm in the one shower to raise the shower head. Replace the iron/ironing board. The front desk will not store luggage so that was a challenge to pull around all day. Not sure why they would not do this for us but when we checked in they did not they did not manage this room so felt we were on our own from that point on. A bathroom is available by the pool/tiki bar and was kept very clean. The room had (4) beach towels and the beach had chairs/umbrellas for rent from 9 to 5. This was great to have available. Property is older but by the postings, it looks like this year it will be updated. Great location - quiet and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Plus the sunsets! A walking path is available starting across the grocery store. Overall, a very nice place to stay and would recommend this to others for great spot for a beach vacation.

The property is located in the heart of Central treasure Island close to John’s Pass but far enough away that you’re not in the middle of all the busy action. We’re still close to many many places to have a lot of fun. Room was exactly as we expected accommodated our family perfectly the beach was beautiful the tiki bar was fun in the pool was very nice

Unbelievable spot right on the beach. The decor was a little dated and run down but the place was clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome balcony view and beach!

For the most part the property was as advertised, and we enjoyed our stay a great deal. The condo unit was directly on the beach and our condo has double balconies that face the Gulf providing breathtaking views of sunsets and surf. Everything about the condo was spotlessly clean on our arrival, and the two queen beds were both very comfortable. There was ample dresser and closet space. On the whole, it is a nice sized apartment with a good layout. Unfortunately, the furnishing was a bit on the shabby side. The apartment could definitely use a refresh. The absence of a coffee table was a big miss. The kitchen was equipped with a limited assortment of utensils and pots/pans. The two-burner electric stovetop was barely functional, so cooking meals was a bit of a challenge. In fact, we blew a fuse when we tried to use the toaster, coffee maker and stovetop all at the same time. We also found that the smoke detector was not working. The beach equipment was old and needs to be replaced. However, the building generally is very well cared for, if older, and the pool is heated, clean and wonderful! The property manager was immediately responsive to several of our requests; service here gets 5 stars. On the whole, we would certainly consider a return trip to this property. As they say in the real estate trade, "location, location, location". This condo has that in spades!

Always a great stay with Mainsail at the Island Inn

A friend of mine and I wanted to get away at the last minute for a few days and that’s can be kind of tricky. This spot was perfect. The decor was very dated but besides the spots on the furniture the place was clean

We loved this condo and would definitely recommend it! Very spacious and had so much area for a relaxing stay! The view was stunning and the building the condo is in was very nice as well! A pool and a small tiki bar for drinks was the cherry on top! Communication is top notch! Wish we would have booked for longer because we truly didn’t want to leave!

Friendly atmosphere

Liked the view from the balcony. Close enough to walk to where ever we wanted to go on this trip. Furniture was usable not too comfortable. Communication with owners was very prompt. We intend to book again sometime in the future.

Great nights sleep on the comfy beds! The view is excellent! Clean & nice to have amenities. Some of the decor is dated & showers/drains could be cleared. Overall, awesome time!

Rooms were clean and pleasant to be in. Loved the 2 bedrooms and balcony. It was spacious and well kept. The view was beautiful especially the sunset. The staff was always there if I needed them. Pool was inviting as was the gulf. I highly recommend this unit.

The room is adequate and beds are comfortable. We had a few small issues and the property manager could not have been quicker to respond and fix every issue. I would rent this unit again. I frequent the Island Inn. The pool is nice, closest walk to the water in TI and we enjoy the Island Girl Tiki bar.

We love Treasure Island, and stay there several times a year. This was our first time renting this unit, though. The good: The view is incredible. It's one of the closer to the water condos on the island, and the master bed has a view of the water, so that is amazing and something i always try to find. The condo itself is friendly, and the pool is well kept. and there's a Tiki bar downstairs for some good drinks by the pool. The bad: I know i'm at the beach, and I expect sand... but the amount left in the living room was almost enough to make a sand castle. The ceiling fan in the bedroom doesn't work, The couch had horrific staining that we didn't even want to sit on, there was an old hand towel on the balcony, along with a half smoked cuban cigar. The place is in general disrepair and needs some attention. The lock is a battery powered key code, and died after the first day. The gentleman was there in under a half hour, so kudos on that. The Ugly: The railing is loose on the balcony, and one of the banisters is mostly sawn through. The smoke detectors are hanging off the walls, the outlet with the hair dryer plugged into it - the back of the plug has fallen off and is just placed on top... the PCB (circuit board) is open to be touched and a shocking/fire hazard. This place is nice and in a great location, and with a little bit of upkeep, it'll be a prime rental!

Great location, clean (front door could use a scrubbing/paint job), and quiet. The fridge temperature is off - it froze some food drink in the back of fridge and warmer in the door front. Otherwise overall happy with the property.

My best friends and I stayed at this location for 5 days and 4 nights. It was fun! Property is right on the beach with a beautiful sunset view! The apartment was spacious for the five of us and definitely enough sleeping room with two beds and a pull out bed. There was no stove, but we did utilize the grill downstairs on the beach. I recommend opening the curtains in the morning, let the sunshine in, drink some coffee/tea on either of the two balconies. We loved this little area as it was quite and just what we needed. Will be back to Treasure Island! Thank you to the host! Prepare to be sunned and sandy!

Great location

This was the most wonderful beach experience we have ever had! The view was perfection! The property was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. The hosts were so responsive. Absolutely immediately anytime we had a question. I really hope to be back every year from now on!

Whenever we stay at vrbos we think of a good title for our review and "million dollar view" captures this one. The gulf is beautiful and the location is great. The reviews I read before we came were all very accurate. The condo could use a deep cleaning. We bought lysol wipes and scrubbed what we could.... but for the price we expected it to be cleaner. We all wore sandals because the floors were dirty. Read the reviews so you are prepared. Check in was easy and we were able to get our parking pass early and spend time at the pool before we got our condo. The tiki bar was a nice addition at the pool, and we rented chairs/umbrellas every day to enjoy the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we always appreciate clean, white linens and towels. This place has so much potential! But the couch was dingy, and the decor seemed very "second hand." Some TLC would really make it ideal! Updated bathrooms would go a long way. And hopefully the management company can look into better house keeping. They quickly responded to texts and made dealing with them very easy so they don't seem to be the problem.

That person was not able to fix it so management sent a plumber the next morning. We found management very responsive. The issue is the aging building leaves a lot to be desired. Some parts of this unit were old and gave the appearance of not being clean. Needs updates. One of the two elevators was out for our entire stay so we had to do a lot of waiting. Desk employees could not provide an update on the repair. Loved the balcony overlooking the beach.

The unit needs a thorough deep clean, bedding was worn & drains in the sinks & showers did not drain properly needing maintenance .

The unit needs a thorough deep clean, bedding was worn & drains in the sinks & showers did not drain properly needing maintenance .

I feel this was perfect for a family with kids. We didn't need fancy. You can tell it's been used. But we just used it for sleep, mainly. Didn't feel worried about tracking in sand (it came with sand already. Ha). Lack of outlets was an issue. Access to beach is perfect. Servcie was great. Love that ppl left sand toys and boogie boards . So we added some sand toys.
