This property was perfect for our very short trip to South Bend for a family birthday party. It would have been great to be able to stay longer, but schedules wouldn't allow. The property was perfect and we enjoyed the time we had there!

Todd was very attentive and supportive but the property was damaged by recent storms in the area. Todd was even performing repairs to the property while we were staying there. This adversely affected the back yard atmosphere, especially for our 4 year old grandson. The property also needs an upgrade to its furniture which is worn and old. But we had a good stay.

Perfect Vrbo. Cozy, quaint and great location. The host was responsive and courteous. Would recommend for football weekends or any trips to South Bend. Best back yard for gathering with family.

We were in town for a bridal shower I was hosting for family and needed a good space to put stuff together and finalize the food. We had plenty of space, close to out venue and stores we needed.
Host was very responsive if we had questions. Front door handle needed fixed as well as a cabinet door but they were aware.

Great location in close proximity to campus. Excellent communication throughout booking and stay. Very nice hot tub. Overall very pleased. I would note that the kitchen is not very well stocked with necessities if you're planning on cooking meal(s) in home. Would definitely rent again, however.

I stayed hear for nearly 2 weeks when in the South Bend area for work.
The property was everything promised, was clean and very nice. All the promised amenities were available and easy to use/find. I didn't use the hot tub, but it was hot and ready.
Communication with Todd, the rental manager, was proactive on his part, easy, seamless and pleasant.
I can only give a 5-Star recommendation.

We had an amazing time at McKinleys Best! The host was attentive and responsive. He reached out a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean and warm. They provided linens, towels for bath and hot tub. Toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. Wide selection of coffee, as well as some cooking basics. I appreciate these little things as lots of rentals don’t provide them. The rental provided us with a great, fun and safe place to enjoy Christmas with our family! Thank you to the Martin family!

This house served our group well for a Notre Dame football weekend. We were under the impression that it had two full bathrooms instead of 1.5, which wasn't ideal for our group of 8 adults, but we made it work. The living room was great for warming up and relaxing after the game.
Check-in/out was very easy, and Todd was responsive.

We stayed here for a two week stay while our daughter attended a program at Notre Dame. Todd was incredibly helpful during that period of time. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Family Trip
We stayed here last weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. My parents, siblings and husband were visiting for a Garth Brooks concert at the stadium. Saturday was a beautiful day, so we walked the neighborhood and it was a beautiful area. Also, we took advantage of the backyard and sat and enjoyed each others company. The house was very clean and accommodating. My step dad requested a few more bourbon glasses ;) Thank you for your hospitality!

Overall great time and hands down the best communication I've ever experienced on VRBO or other lesser sites. I was allowed a super early check in to set up the place for my engagement after dinner. We walked in to a dimly lit and perfectly moody, beautiful living room where I had plenty of flowers waiting for us. Later we relaxed in the hot tub and had a great time. The hardest part was choosing which of the 3 bedrooms to stay in!

WONDERFUL location near everything family and fun oriented. The house was the perfect size for 6 adults and two children to run and play around with. We had no issues at all and Todd was great about having us check out a little later. Easy to access him at any time.
