Lovely modern house with good appliances and everything you need for a weekend away. Bedrooms are very spacious and the furnishings were nice. Great location for water activities, it was nice having access to the pontoon/jetty to fish and watch the world go by. Very pet friendly the back yard is fenced . Good communication with property manager. It is in a very quite location and away it all.

Nice house and great place for both family and pets. Great location with the lake at your backyard. Little more maintenance around the back yard would make it better.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Relaxed and peaceful area. The house was perfect for us and had all we needed. Spotless (compliments to the cleaners). We did not attempt to use the table tennis because it appeared to have issues. (Wheel missing and broken strut). We would definitely stay again. It was just what we were after. Thankyou.

Sunset Escape is a lovely venue with a beautiful reserve and lake is very clean with comfortable furniture and amenities.The curtains are in a bad state of repair and it would be more comfortable in Summer if they were attended to.?

We enjoyed our stay, nice property. It had all the necessities for a lovely weekend. The family enjoyed the canoes. We took our 91yr old father and the property was perfect for the elderly with no steps. If I was to fault anything it would be the curtains in all rooms let down the property. They don’t work or close properly. Oh and although you can’t let your dog off the lead in the reserve out the back the rope system set up was great! Thank you for a nice weekend.

We were a group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids) and we had the most wonderful stay! Communication with Kaitlyn and the team was easy, fast and much appreciated. The house was perfect - very clean, super comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, plenty of space for everyone. We loved the location and out look from the back towards the lake - particularly during the gorgeous sunsets we were treated to! Also a bonus were the kayaks which were enjoyed by all. We would love to return to Sunset Escape! Thanks for having us and providing a perfect place for our stay.

The house is well equipped and very comfortable. It was great to have the fire for the cool nights. It was a nice touch to have the welcome bottle of wine and biscuits. Lovely sitting out the back and watching the sun set across the lake.

Beautiful place for a little getaway! Big house, very clean and pet friendly.The only tip for this house is the traps are switched soo if you’re staying here the cold tap is actually hot and hot is cold. Took us a while to figure it out 😂

We had a great time here. From having meals and socialising in the generous living area to the easy access to the lake behind the property for water activities the location and amenities are fantastic. There is plenty of things to do in the area, though a car is necessary (which we knew). When driving around the area it is a nice location, with lakes both north and south along with the national park and beaches not far away. Thanks very much!

We stayed in this absolutely gorgeous property with equally stunning views on Australia day weekend. The house spotless and had everything we needed, the view of lake was breathtaking in mornings. It’s a very serene and quite place for relaxing and having a family time. We went with two kids and our fur baby and everyone had a blast. The property manager Kaitlyn was very helpful and accommodating , we just loved our stay and will be booking again this property soon.

Had a lovely time.....the lake is lovely, with a lovely reserve that has lots of benches for sitting and admiring the view.

Wonderfully relaxing
Perfect for our two families to get away. Very relaxing to sit on the back porch and look out over the lake. Close enough if you need something but not too close so that you feel like you have properly escaped. Very lovely appliances and furnishings.

It was just perfect!
The place was very clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable and good linens. Location was quite and peaceful. Just perfect for a small family getaway. Just what we needed.

Quiet and lakefront
A great family stay. The house is newly renovated and well equipped with every single thing from plates, glasses, furniture to the hairdryer (was still in the box) was brand new. Bedsheets are sheridan and hotel towels.
The lake, whilst not really for swimming, is fab for fishing, kayaking and peace and quiet. Jetty out the front if you have a boat.

We had a wonderful time!
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described in the advertisement. We were even reminded when the booking was made that the dishwasher hadn’t been repaired (it was mentioned in one of the reviews), which was okay.
It was quite hot on the days we were staying at the property and air conditioning would have made it ideal. However, there was a ceiling fan in every room, which did the job.
The location was perfect, right near the lake which was literally in our backyard and the interior of the property was almost brand new.
We would definitely come back to stay!

Relaxing stay
How has a nice view to the lake, kinds loved playing outside. Inside of the house is newly renovated. Dishwasher wasn't working and the bin was full when we checked in, but we still loved the location and our stay.
