Nice property in a central area. It is an upper unit of a duplex with a few occupants downstairs.

We really enjoyed the condo, it has everything you need and the host is very nice and helpful. Definitely recommended.

We stayed the for a week: it was very clean and comfortable. It felt like home: it was equipped with every you needed. I would recommend this is the place to stay !!!!!

I'd love to give this place a five-star review since the house layout and amenities were top notch. The house was as described. Pros - two spacious bedrooms (one queen, one king), plus the extra kids cubby. Easy to find, easy access, great laundry facility, dual coffee maker, nice fridge and gas stove. Cons - very little in kitchen in the way of full size pans to cook a meal. A few spices and olive oil, and random dry goods, but no condiments or staples. No big deal as groceries & Walmart are nearby. The neighborhood seems a bit rundown, but not unsafe. We didn't use the hot tub as there was no privacy from view of neighboring houses. The downstairs neighbors were friendly. Not sure if something was going on the days we were there, but they opened the garage door at 3am and noisily banged connecting doors and talked. If you're a light sleeper, I would look for a house where you're renting the whole thing, not just one floor, as in this instance. (Yes, this was clearly disclosed in the property description.) Katie was an excellent host and was able to assist me when I could not locate the access code for the door. She resent all the relevant details to my cell phone and gave me quick tips on what to do and not do. She was awesome! I'm sure if we had been there longer and I had notified her of the noise issue, she would have helped come to a resolution. We loved Anchorage! Take a drive down Turnagain Arm to Portage to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.

We used the main bedroom and the king-sized mattress was very comfortable. Linens were clean and the overall accommodations were very nice.

We booked the Lion's Loft after our original VRBO listing turned out to be left listed in error. The owner kindly allowed us to book the property last minute. It is pleasantly adorned and furnished and very clean. All appliances are in good working order and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The kids enjoyed the cub cave hangout nook. The beds were very comfortable and the shades kept the rooms dark at night. Check in and out was easy and seamless. I wouldn't hesitate to book the property again.

We had a good stay at Lions Loft. My 13 year old called the little cubby her own and slept in it all 3 nights. The jacuzzi was just what we needed after a long day of travel.

Everything we needed was available and the house was perfect for our family trip. Very convenient location for traveling. Hot tub was amazing.

When I first arrived I was a lil confused on where to park but figured it. Was instructed to park on the far right which was kinda difficult because I have a truck and it was a small spot. Once I got in the apartment I was amazed on how clean and beautiful it was. The kitchen was huge and the living room what awesome. The bedrooms were nice and well put together. Issues we had were, we were told there was a space heater but there wasnt and the VRBO app didn't work so I had to rely on emails to send messages. But other that, it was a great experience l.

House was even nicer than advertised. Tucked away in a nice small sub-division about 15 minutes from anything in Anchorage. Great upstairs unit for a small family, it was three of us, and my daughter loved the mini rock climbing wall into the wall fort. Definitely recommend! Owners very helpful and quick to respond.

My wife and I stayed at this VRBO for 8 days and were very pleased. The home is exactly as advertised and is convenient to Hwy 1, downtown and the airport. Just up the street are pizza places, gas stations and other businesses; there’s also a Walmart 2 miles away. The beds are comfortable, and the entire home is setup well. Be advised, this is a duplex and you’ll be in the upper floor. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lion's Loft. It was clean, nicely decorated and met the description with accuracy. We had flown to Alaska to meet up with our daughter who worked as a camp counselor all summer, living in a tent, and one of the reason's we chose a VRBO was in order to have a washer/dryer to wash 3 months of nasty camp clothes/gear. The Lion's Loft washer/dryer was nicer than what I have at home! Every question I sent to Katie was answered within 2-3 hours and she was able to help me every time. She even mailed my daughter's AirPods when she left them. Plenty of outlets for all our recharging needs and lots of places to hang wet raincoats, etc. Even though we didn't cook, I was impressed with the array of kitchen utensils. My only suggestion would be an extra set of towels for people staying more than 2-3 days. We had to wash towels after my husband dropped MINE on the bathroom floor and stepped all over it! Thanks for a great stay in Alaska!

Everything was as expected, out host had excellent communication and check in and out were very convenient. Our daughter loved the Cub cave!

This adorable property was just as the pictures and description promised. My husband and I were very comfortable there during our stay. The furnishings are very modern and we were close to every place we wanted to be. The owner was responsive to all messages. I would recommend this property to all visitors!

This house was very cute in a residential neighborhood in Anchorage about a 15 minute drive from downtown. The owners were very responsive and provided a ton of extras you don't get at all properties.

The loft was located in a quite neighborhood, close to the military base. Very clean, spacious, well appointed. It had a fully stocked kitchen with coffee and teas. The king size bed was very comfortable and had good quality linens. The bathroom was stocked like a great hotel room. Katie was very responsive and helpful . Awesome stay. Highly recommend.

My boys absolutely loved the Cub cave, host were very polite and helpful throughout our entire stay. Everything was very comfortable, from the bed to the couches, they definitely captured the feeling of a welcoming home.

We were worried about the location because of the few streets before we got to the place appeared kind of unsafe, but the house seemed okay. I didn't expect the high cost for cleaning and taxes. All and all it was okay.

Katie's place is lovely. Very spacious. Great hosts. Clearly, lots of thought has gone into making this a comfortable and enjoyable place. We really appreciated having this spot to come back to at the end of our days.

I booked this property for a vacation trip with my granddaughter. We used Anchorage as a home base for many day trips, such as Spencer Glacier, Eagle River, Seaplane trip, and hiking. Katie, the host was upbeat, positive, and responsive. The home had many windows and a lot of natural light which was great. We especially enjoyed relaxing at night on the big sofa. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was cozy. The home is in an older area of town, but it has been well kept, and it is cute inside. Kitchen has everything you need, and ( most importantly) a Keurig coffee machine that makes either a pot or just a cup. Home is conveniently located-There is a newer shopping area within a 5 minute drive where you could find places to eat, and there is a grocery store 2 minutes away. We had a trip of a lifetime, thank you Katie for sharing your home.

Everything about renting this property has been great! Katie has created the perfect space for my family to enjoy Anchorage! The location was perfect for us, not far from downtown and very close to the highway to go exploring. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet. Katie was there when I needed her but otherwise I never felt like she was overbearing in any way! I would highly recommend renting from Katie and staying in the Lion’s Loft!

I felt pampered, its a very comfortable and stylish place. Bed were super comfy, slept like a baby and loved the decor. I wanna redecorate my home now! Definitely would stay again. Neighborhood worried me a little, but once there and inside I was so extremely comfortable and felt safe. They are thoughtful hosts leaving a thank you card and popcorn!

Katie and James did an amazing job making our stay comfortable. My husband and I traveled with my dad to Alaska to see family unexpectedly and they made sure that we had a quiet, beautiful space to escape. PS it is very well decorated and super cute!
