My family (disabled mom, husband, 20yr daughter, 12yr son & I) moving from Oregon with our dog and cats found ourselves without a home between selling ours and closing on the new house. We found Kara's VRBO and they graciously allowed our entire family into their home. After travelling through a bad snow storm, we were welcomed into her warmly painted home and instantly felt the stress roll off our shoulders. The master bed was so large, so comfortable... exactly what my husband needed for a few nights solid sleep. We chose to cover the furniture with our own blankets but Kara didnt ask anything but cleaning up after them. I cant thank you enough for providing us a safe warm and inviting place to rest. Thank you!

The house is very clean, comfortable, and homey. The master bath with jet tub was amazing...I wish we had more time to enjoy it. The back yard is fully fenced, which was very important since we were taking our dog with us. I felt comfortable leaving him in the backyard unsupervised. The host was very friendly and gave very clear information for the house and checking in and all of those things.

We are grandparents that have guardianship of my step daughter’s two children. Their mama is now 5 mos clean and sober and living in Boise. This is the first time she has seen her children in over a year. Thank you!

Very comfortable house for adults, kids and dogs. The backyard was a huge hit (had a play structure for the kids, fenced for our doggy family members). Was pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the mall/restaurant part of Boise. We’d definitely stay here again. So much better than hotel rooms! Thanks

This property was perfect for a small group of senior dog friends to stay together. A nice secure yard with seating for us to visit and our dogs to play. Indoor connected living, kitchen and dining space was nice. The 2 larger bedrooms were very nice for adults. The triple bunk in the small bedroom would be great for kids but was a bit inconvenient for a senior adult. Wonderful new large fridge and lots of pantry area for our groceries. Amazing quick communication with property owner. WiFi worked great.

This home and location worked perfectly for our family as a staging point to move our son into his dorm at Boise State University the next day. It was nice to park our loaded car in the garage overnight and we enjoyed how comfortable the bedrooms and living room were to relax in at night. Special thanks to Kara for all of the advance information, which helped us have a great stay. I definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again when we're down for college visits!

This super cute and clean house was a huge hit for the kids! Us adults loved catching up out on the deck around the fire pit.The only thing that would make this better is some sort of green space for the dog. No dog? No problem! We would recommend this to anyone who has kids even without the green space.

Only here for a quick overnight rest. Great location, clean, comfy. Would stay again for longer.

We broke our travel through the state with a short stay in this home. It was very well-appointed and spacious. The location, adjacent to Mariposa (butterfly/dog) Park and within a mile of stores, was super convenient and allowed us to rest and rejuvenate. Thanks for a 5 star stay!

Kara had a property that was meant for our family of eight. Our little kids loved the playground in the back and our big kids loved how close it was to just walk around the neighborhood to the park. Us parents loved that it was a safe and convenient place for us all to enjoy. The kitchen had plenty of dishes for us to use, and the bedrooms gave us ample space to spread out. Thanks Kara for a wonderful place to stay!

If you are planning a trip to Boise or the surrounding area, this is a great spot. The place is located in a nice neighborhood close to town. It was everything that it was advertised to be, clean and spacious, and the hosts were responsive to our questions. Nice and quiet backyard as well.

Our second time staying here was just as good as the first. It’s very clean, comfortable, quiet and has a welcoming vibe. Best of all for us is the lack of scented products. I normally bring my own sheets and towels because of the scented detergents and fabric softeners used at most places, but this is one home where we can use their (very soft) unscented sheets and towels. Thank you!

The linens were not properly washed as we found lollipops in the blankets. Lines should be washed regardless of use after every visitor.

Easy, everything we needed.

My friends and I came for a staycation and this home was spacious both inside and out, had everything we needed including extra blankets and a great area in the back for our pup to run around. We all slept comfortably and the host was very prompt about responding and answering all of our questions. Thank you!!

Excellent place for Family & Fur Family. Very welcoming and accommodating. We will Not hesitate to stay here when we visit the Boise area. We felt comfortable and relaxed and we were close to shopping restaurants & entertainment.

Kara was great. We needed a roasting pan for our Christmas dinner and she went out a new bought one which was so thoughtful.

overall the property was great except there was a lot of dog pup in backyard that i cleaned up.should have small rugs at door enterances because of wet feet.

Host was so accommodating with our needs and our fur baby needs. Big fenced in backyard for kids or pets to play. Close to anything you might need. Highly recommend and would stay again 10/10.

We loved the house and we would definitely stay again when we are visiting our daughter in college. The house had everything we needed for an great week-end.

This house was in a great location to dog park ,very walkable and our dog went every day. We were in town for a wedding and rental was close to area so good home base for us. House was cozy with a nice fire pit in back yard, we did not have a chance to use it as it was very hot even at night. Overall a positive experience and I would stay here again

This is a well-appointed, well-cared for house. I have stayed in many rentals and this was one of the best. The house was clean and best of all had no scents of any kind. The quality of the linens was high and overall it is just very comfortable. The host is easy to communicate with as well. I wish I had more reasons to go to Boise!

This was a great place to stay with a family. We had 4 kids with us, ages 3, 4,10 and 11. We so appeciated the play structure in the backyard, the toys, puzzles, and games in the closet, and the proximity to so many activities in and around Boise. This home is very clean and comfortable and communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

It was perfect. In close proximity to a wedding venue, other friends house, easy access to Boise airport. Dog friendly, which was one of our reasons for choosing this place. The mattresses were very comfortable. Super quiet neighborhood.
