The house was very cute. The pics don't do it justice and the view out the back porch was lovely. It was a bit of a chore getting down to the water but we knew that when we booked it. Overall it was a great place to get together with family. We all enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and fishing! Thanks so much for sharing your house with us!

First of all this is a beautiful cabin the layout is nice with bedrooms at each end giving you privacy. Loved having access to the dock and kayaks. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes you could need. The screened in porch was nice to sit out and not be bothered by bugs. The hot tub was nice. That all being said i was pretty disappointed in this cabin for price. I was not expecting the furniture to be broken down and uncomfortable. We had 3 recliners and only 1 reclined. The mattresses were wore out with a hill in the middle and sides sunk in. All 5 of us woke up with sore backs. The screened in porch was nice but we had to sweep it before we could sit on it dirt and dog hair was horrible. The patio furniture had cushions but they were so old no cushion was left just material. I don't think the gas grill had ever been cleaned out. We had a grease fire our first use and hadn't put anything on it to cook. We tried to use the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom but the hot water heater isn't big enough to fill the tub above the jets. Its sad because this really is a beautiful cabin with great views but because of the furnishings being so uncomfortable we will book a different cabin next year.

An amazing view of Lake Douglas. The location of the house is very peaceful with spectacular outdoor living areas that everyone enjoyed. The house is clean and worked great for our family of 11 with two dogs. Tammy and guy are very quick to respond to emails and helpful if you have any questions.

House was very spacious and set up perfectly for 8 adults. Very open living area. We cooked in all meals and the house had all pots/pans/utensils that you would need. The extra refrigerator in the basement was nice for exta space for drinks. Beds are very comfortable. The porches were also large and spacious. The gravel path to the lake was a little longer and more challenging than we expected however as stated you can slowly drive an AWD down to turn around. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. Overall would recommend property.

We didn't get to stay long (came in late and left fairly early the next morning), but we enjoyed our 11 hour stay! Everything was very good.

Homey and simple decor greets you. Then you open the blinds and drapes and the view takes your breath away. No people in site and a well stock kitchen set-up. No crappy pots and pans here! Plenty of dishes, cups etc. Everyone had privacy and we could separate into smaller groups for conversation and different activities. If we come back will bring a side by side to enjoy the lake. Very comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the showers. No one wanted to leave. It was absolutely perfect!

Absolutely loved this cabin! The check in was super easy, and the view is amazing. Everything was super clean, and instructions for everything were simple as could be. The owners are extremely reasonable and easy to communicate with! We adored everything about this place ❤️

Check in went great, some issues were mouse pellets in the downstairs couch, dishes in dishwasher were dirty, roach bugs in shower on main level and mouse traps on back porch.

we went with our two sons and their wives for our yearly family trip this place is beautiful and just as listed and the host are great i would recommend it to anyone you won't be disappointed

This home was wonderful! Loved the hot tub, fireplace and enclosed back porches. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home is very close to a road, however it’s a remote deadend road. Literally saw/barely heard four vehicles over three days. Quiet, private, relaxing place to unwind. Loved that the Christmas tree was still up over New Years! Thank you! So fun and festive. Very comfortable beds (FOUR King beds!!!) and nice shower water pressure. Hope to return with more friends or family. Appreciate you letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We stayed at this cabin with 3 couples and a couple pups. Lots of space to spread out. It had everything we needed including pots and pans for our family dinner. Plenty of board games. We ended up getting snowed in on day one, luckily there were ingredients in the cupboards to work with. The tubs in the bedrooms were nice but we ran out of hot water when filling them up, something to keep in mind. Also, 10/10 recommend a vehicle with 4wd, the hills are no joke. Views were gorgeous. The location is good if you’re looking to get away from commotion.

The cabin is situated in a beautiful location with an amazing view of the lake. We had a family holiday getaway and the cabin was very spacious with plenty of activities provided. Everyone loved having a king suite with their own bathroom. We absolutely loved the cabin! We will definitely be returning!

Everything was wonderful! The view is of the lake is spectacular! The cabin is very clean and beautiful. One of the nicest cabins I’ve ever stayed in. The owners are wonderful and were so helpful when my son left his wallet behind. We will definitely be staying here again.

We originally booked this cabin as a get away with our dad, but he passed away just a few days before we were booked to go. Tammy was so gracious to let us change our dates. We spent time talking about memories and just healing together as a family. The cabin was secluded that there was only a few cars we actually passed but close enough to town that we made a trip to Dollywood in a matter of minutes. The cabin was clean and had all the comforts of home! If you need a cabin, Tammy and Guy are the people you need to rent from. They treat you like family and that matters to us!

Great place to spend with the family

The house is set up with everything one could need. It’s inviting and cozy, with plenty of room to spread out. The decks are perfect, with beautiful views. The hosts were wonderful to work with. We will be back.

Beautiful location and home! Lots of room for our family of 10 adults. Love the bathrooms in each room and we used the extra beds in the family room. The porch was so nice to sit on and visit. Big kitchen with so many extras. Extra fridge in the lower level was a plus. Property is very private which is wonderful. Another plus was the accessibility of the house itself - straight in with no uphill for my dad. The stairs and dock to the lake were a little tricky for someone with mobility issues but we were also able to drive our truck down there. Loved the private cove and kayaks. Wonderful Douglas Lake trip!

Great house and great location! The check-in process was seamless. The house was very clean upon arrival. We were able to get right in, unload our stuff, and head out to explore the property. The layout of the house was great for our group of 3 families. I loved that each bedroom has their own bathroom which made showering at the end of the day or getting ready for the day much easier than if we would have had to share bathrooms. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house is just a short 45 minute drive to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The walk to and from the lake isn't far but it can be challenging if you aren't used to walking up and down fairly steep hills. However, you are in the mountains so that is to be expected. There is enough room on the path to the lake to drive your vehicle down there but you will need 4 wheel drive. Tammy & Guy are extremely attentive and responded to my messages and questions within minutes. Overall we loved our stay at this house and will definitely stay here again if in the area.
