Before I can comment on the property, I must say that the owner is beyond courteous and communicative. The home is kept in amazing condition and the location is incredible. I highly recommend this property to others, as long as they maintain courteous and respect for the property and its owner.

I stayed for a month on a work trip. Great sized back yard for doggo to roam. The property owner was always available for questions and any special needs I had. She even got an extra little table for me to do work on! It’s not in the owners control, so this is in no way a bad review but needs to be stated that all the neighbors have dogs and there is a lot of barking so be prepared. Also the street is pretty tight and the neighbors park their vehicles in the space available including in front of the house, which made it difficult for me with a big work truck. Overall I was happy with my stay and would definitely book here again.

It was a place to stay. However we went during the heat wave and the A/C unit they have for the house is terrible. To make it some what ok I had to buy two fans. It was still so very hot. One room did have A/C but u had to keep the door shut so during the day we all hung out in the bedroom. They definitely need A/C in the house or other window unit.

Ok for what we needed, (a little dated in some areas & small) but again ok for what was needed. Which was a place to sleep & shower after a day @ the Lake. Instead of driving 1hr & 15mins back home late @ night. Host was accommodating to the needs I thought we'd need (early check-in). We didn't need it but we were glad we could if needed. We checked in around 11p/12a Saturday & checked out early around 730a Sunday.

So I had similar results as past reviews. This place was disgusting. Shower was full of hair. If you look up the ceiling had a bunch of what looked like dog hair stuck on it. Other corner ceiling full of dead knats stuck. No ventilation and if you open the window it has no screen and neighbor is literally 10 feet away and can see right inside. And shower floor is all cracked and nasty ( this is just the bathroom ) Living area/ kitchen . The kitchen light would not turn on . Occasionally it would pop and you would see like a spark most of the time it stayed a orange color eventually turning on all the way. Living area stunk like weed. AC felt more like a swamp cooler and made the house stink even more . Tv was unusable since there was no batteries for remote.. 1 bedroom had a portable AC the other one didn't there was no sheets . Only thing available was the fitted sheet and a comforter that I'm sure doesn't get washed . Neighborhood is extremely shady. Park across the street filled with homeless/drug addicts . I did not complete my stay I checked in around 5 found the place to be disgusting drove for 5 hours and left the following morning. Owner unhelpful. Oh and Owner by mistake mostlikely but still should not happen had her private conversation screen shots from prior renters. Pictures of them . Receipts streaming through a TV in bedroom

First, I have to say that we did get a refund of the cleaning fee from the owner when we spoke to her about the issues, which we appreciate. However, some of these issues are so egregious that I felt that a review was needed. When we arrived we noticed that the house was very dirty, carpets had not been vacuumed -visible hair and lint etc. There was chewing gum stuck to the blinds in the living room, the shower had a hair tie with hair left in it, the shower itself is cracked and feels soft under while you’re standing in shower (I weigh less than 150). The back yard is full of holes and my husband tripped multiple times and fell a couple of times at night because there is no light in the backyard. Lots of fire ants in yard. Says it is wheelchair accessible, I use walker and wheelchair and could not use the toilet with my devices because there is no room to rotate them. If you are completely dependent on a wheelchair this is not the place for you. The first time we changed the kitchen trash, my husband noticed the bottom was encased in mold, so thick it appeared as if a large amount of dryer lint was on bottom, (it wasn’t lint) As far as the neighborhood, the park across the street and the lake is a gathering place for people who gather cans and cigarette butts in the day while it’s open. The park also has families and children from the apartments across the street. Tons of street traffic in and out of that area late into the night even after park closes. There was a man riding up and down street on a bicycle with a distinguishable gang tattoo on multiple days. One weekend day there was music playing over loud speaker for over 8 hours until after 9pm from a house some where that we could hear perfectly inside with the windows and doors closed and the air conditioning unit on. We have stayed in multiple VRBOs and have had good and not so good places, but I’ve never stayed at a place that I considered leaving, if my husband wouldn’t have been with me I wouldn’t have stayed.

I like where the house was located close to the park and lake. But inside the house the owner said it was clean but it wasn't The house had lots of pet hair, pee by the toilet,spider webs around the house, aunts on the bed, under the other bed there was spoiled food, and the dishes there where dirty. And by the way there wasn't even cups to have coffee in. when the owner called me she told me we couldn't have a party there and that's ok but i wouldn't even have a gathering with 10 family member there. So i didn't like this house at all. I would not recommend this place .
