The location of the hotel is great. However my room was filthy. As if it had never been cleaned. The sheets and towels were smelly. There were sheets thrown outside the room that one of the guests had messed with, and not a single employee cleared the dirty laundry. The worst hotel I have ever been to. Score 0

There were 4 of us who shared a room. This was perfect. It is very central so a great location. It was clean, comfortable, great shower. We were in Amsterdam to celebrate turning 60 - hotel was perfect. Was it the coziest hotel we’ve ever stayed at? No, but it fit our trip perfectly. Breakfast was great!

Friendly staff. The problem we experienced is our son got bed bug bites from sleeping there.

Nice clean hotel room in a great area. The only thing is it doesn't have AC. That was my bad for missing that on the listing, but figured I'd mention it for FYI. And I should have guessed since it is an older building.

Rooms don’t have AC and windows don’t have screens. No washcloths in bathroom, bathroom vent didn’t work, carpet was wet around bed when arrived, TV buffers often and is too small for the room.

We really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Nova. It was very convenient to get everywhere. Breakfast was great- lots of choices. Room was clean with a very large fridge! LOL
The only negative was the coffee machine in the communal area wasn’t always working but the free cold water machine was always working.
The reception staff were all so polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, on a quieter street just off the main routes to about everything. Walking distance to all the major tourist areas. Convenient to transportation to everything else.

Nova Hotel was Perfect!!! Room was spacious, beds were extremely comfortable, perfect location to walk to everything! Could not have asked for anything better!

Lovely property in a great location. Many many stairs which is not unusual for Amsterdam but challenging with luggage. Not suitable if you have mobility issues.

We were a party of 6 in two rooms and both rooms were cozy, comfy & spacious and gave us exactly what we needed. Nice location close to shopping and dining.

Lovely family room, better than we expected. Free coffee from reception was a bonus. Central to main shopping and attractions but just enough away to be quiet. Visited with two children and was a safe choice for them.

Dirty hallways with rugs that hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in months. Stains on carpet in room. Had to carry heavy luggage thru small tasks and many doors. Breakfast was poor.

Great central location. We could walk everywhere we needed to go. I would 100% stay here again for location alone. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Overall the hotel was nice. Rooms are a bit small but that’s Europe for you. Be mindful of the stairs in Amsterdam. They’re very narrow and can be difficult to walk, let alone with suitcases. The layout of the floors are confusing so I did get lost a couple of times.
The hotel is very close to transportation so that was very useful.

The property had black mold and the air conditioner didn’t not work. It was 26 degrees outside. The management didn’t care.

Easy walking distance from the train station. Clean, quiet room. Perfect for solo travellers!

Super close for walking everywhere! Couple of museums 10 min walk away, red light around 15 min walk. Lots of shopping and dining options around. Great and affordable base camp for your weekend out!

Absolutely horrible place to stay I would never stay here again. MANAGER IS RUDE AND JUST DONT WANNA KNOW WHEN YOU COME TO HIM WITH A ISSUE. my partner woke up coughing and sneezing because the room was sooo cold I could t believe I paid 150 a night to be cold absolutely shocking place I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed in Amsterdam and this is maybe my 20th time coming here I love this place. I would recommend the inntel hotel lovely staff very clean very helpful ( AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST )

Great location! Still very central, close to everything you want to see, but away from the crowds of people. An ideal location for a long stay. The room with a queen bed was surprisingly roomy. Lovely and accommodating staff. Wish I was staying longer!
