Great clean room, big comforty big and view clean bar too. Friendly staff.

I had a lovely stay with my two grandchildren. Our family room was a decent size but would need bigger if it was 2 adults and 2 children. We ate in the restaurant, the staff were so lovely and paid a lot of attention to the children. We all enjoyed our meal. Swimming pool was a great hit with the kids too.

We've used this hotel several times. Always clean and comfortable. They only supply liquid soap in bathrooms, so take your preferred shampoo and conditioner, if required. Pool is small, so not really a 'swimming' pool, more a plunge/play pool.

Stayed one night - room only. Check in was easy and the staff at reception were helpful and friendly. Hotel tired looking on way to rooms which were small but adequate and again could do with a freshen up. Beds clean and comfortable - room warm - window on ground floor did not open. Toilet/shower was clean and modern looking and water was hot.

Room was really clean. Bar and restaurant really poor. No choices of cocktails at all. Restaurant looks really miserable, food horrible from microwave, not even warm, poor choices (3 starters and 3 main courses). Breakfast next day, really average, no choice and it cost £15 per person. SHOCKING

Rooms are badly in need of deep cleaning and upgrading.

Both on the phone before I arrived, at check in and in the restaurant staff were unfriendly and did the minimum. The hotel is a long way from the city centre and taxis took cash only.

Nice hotel, rooms comfortable but bathroom quite small with nowhere to put toiletries, etc. Bad experience checking in.....had to wait 10/15 mins as no one at Reception then had to go and get the barmaid to get someone to check us in!!

Plenty of parking. Efficient check in. Not a huge room, but perfectly adequate, very comfortable bed. Small bathroom with tiny sink, but the shower over the bath was awesome! Would stay again and try and use the pool and gym.

This hotel was terrible. They put me on the ground floor, single females are normally not given ground accessed rooms. I forgot my tooth paste and tried to call reception. The phone didn’t work. I called off my mobile and they didn’t have any toiletries. The room had a dodgy lock and no internal safety. After the first night, they entered my room without permission and added a safety lock. Towels were hard and smelled like vinegar. No shampoo. Dusty head board. Room service expensive

There was a wedding on and our room was too close to it. So could not ger much sleep and too noisy then guests screaming and shouting in corridor. Should have put us away from wedding.

We chose the Landmark, as it was close the hospital, that we were going to. When we arrived, we asked about dinner and were asked to book a table, which we did. When we went to the bar, they asked if what possible for us to eat in the bar, as there might not be space in the dining room. We agreed. The next night, having left the hotel at 7 a.m., we arrived back, after a very long day at the hospital, just after 8. We went to the bar and asked for 2 soups and rolls and were asked if we had booked a table. We said that we just wanted soup in the bar, but because they were dealing with a wedding, they would have to ask the kitchen. We pointed out that we were guests and had been there the previous night. Eventually they came back and said that the kitchen had agreed. Not the best end to a very stressful day. I will say that the staff were very nice and when I asked for an extra pillow for my husband's foot, and some more milk, they bought the pillows and fresh milk, within minutes.

Stayed at the hotel for a family get together. We needed 2 rooms. One was superb and immaculate. However, in the identical room across the wall, there was a mirror missing and damage to the desk chair so it was a shame this hadn’t been noticed. The kids loved the pool which was warm and while generally it was lovely there, the floor around the pool at clumps of hair so could have been maintained a little better - but equally we had visited on a Saturday afternoon so staff had not got round to it. We added breakfast the next day to our room only booking and it was fine…. But for 6 of us it was £60. Could have used some muffins with the pastries and I would steer clear of the haggis. But the rest was fine and kids ate well. Despite these minor snags we would stay again as the beds were comfy, rooms clean and bathrooms were huge!

The pool/ leisure area was in need of updating

All was good with the stay apart from road works on the roundabout next to the hotel which meant between 7pm and 7am there was a very long detour to get to and from the hotel. Not easy to find. Especially in the dark.

Room was a good size. Large bathroom too No water on the room Room was freezing so put heater on. After two hours of checking the taps and shower we realised the dripping sound was coming from the heater so had to put it off Pull out bed was so noisy, every time someone moved on the bed we were all woken up Guests are so loud too so it was a very sleepless night all bight

This hotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately we ran into a few negatives during our stay. Pro list Large bed in our room. Room had plenty space for us both Shower had good pressure. Lots of parking at hotel Good location of hotel Friendly staff Con list For this particular trip when we arrived we were told about the pool facilities. We raced to our room, got ready to use the pool but when we got to the pool we were told it was shut due to the levels, it did not open for the remainder of our stay! I feel as though communication could have been better here? The restaurant is just lacking overall. Staff seem genuinely lovely, just not managed properly. My steak was wrong (asked for medium rare and came out well done), returned it and had to wait about 25 minutes for it to be replaced. We asked about it twice before we got it. The restaurant area at breakfast time was messy. Sticky tables and seat covers falling off. It was often difficult to get hold of someone at reception as they seem to be doing a lot. When we asked for more towels the one receptionist had to travel to our room (quite far away) to give us towels. We enjoyed our stay overall but get the impression that things maybe aren’t hugely organised and things need to be planned or communicated better.

Hotel was good, leisure facilities were good . Road works at the entrance to hotel caused a problem.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Dundee with easy access to work in the city. Friendly staff and good facilities.

Room had a couple of cobwebs. Tea stained cup which looked like it hadn’t been washed. Also wasn’t notified on booking that the roundabout outside is closed between 7pm-7pm. Got a taxi back to the hotel later that night which cost £22 the fare is usually a tenner

We booked the superior family room when we arrived our room only had a double bed. So we was astonished that when we asked had we been given the wrong room they came back and squashed in the corner a camp bed not very superior is it. We tried the leisur facilities the pool water seemed very dirty and we had to get out feeling quite uncomfortable with a man pointing his phone at kids in the pool although theres plenty signs saying no phones or photography all in an uncomfortable stay and wont return

There was nothing unique about this property,it was shabby ,carpets were torn,windows in dining area filthy pool was always full of children getting swimming lessons so guests could not use it,wi fi wasnt working,atm machine was out of order never enough staff,this hotel does not warrant four stars.i would not stay there again and i would not advise anyone else to stay there.

This was our second time here in the last 2 months and there was a big difference on this visit. Room we cannot fault was clean and tidy. We stayed for 3 nights first night was really good girl that served us was great, food was ok. Second night we came down for dinner to be told that it was a limited menu no pre warning, food took a long time to come out, third day we were told on the previous day that there would be no lunch served between 2-5 , lunch is normally served 12-5 so my mum asked for sandwiches at 1pm and was told there was no staff to serve it as there was a wedding, so this was the cause of no lunch and limited menu's which is ok apart from the fact we were not notified at all, probably didn't help the fact that the wedding party was a bit wild, someone being sick in the bushes outside at 4.30 says it all really. I feel for the staff in here as they work hard but some are poorly trained, as for the management they are non existent, rude and do not help their staff, won't be back again unfortunately

Entrance nice a spacious. Room clean with comfortable pillows. Restaurant for dinner was busy but food was delicious and staff friendly.
