Overall, it’s best option to stay there and enjoy in Monterey, so quiet and beautiful place.

Staff were amazing, professional and pleasant. Rooms were clean.

The room was disappointing. It could be a lot cleaner and could smell better too.

It was excellent, the staff was great and very helpful, I really recommend this place to stay, I know for sure next time I get to travel back that way, this will be the place I'll be staying again,

When we arrived, everything seemed nice, until my kids started walking around the room. When they got on the bed, the bottom of their feet were black. The carpet was so dirty, that it turned the bottom of their feet black within the first 10 minutes of being here. Luckily, we brought our slippers, so we made sure to always have them on while we were in the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I'm guessing they use box spring mattresses, but mine and my husband's backs had to recover after the trip. The continental breakfast was okay and as expected. This place also doesn't have AC, but you're able to open the window. The breeze was nice, so we didn't actually need an AC. When it got cold, the heater in the room worked excellent. Customer service was okay too. The front desk people are nice. Due to the cleanliness and mattresses, I wouldn't stay here again.

It’s quiet even though is pretty close to the airport. Easy access and all furniture has been updated.

Overall, the place was clean, quiet & had easy access to freeways. The only thing missing was an AC unit. It felt muggy & humid not having one in the room. A fan was provided but was not enough to counter the humid condition during the night.

I liked the hotel very close to the airport but did not hear the airplanes during the night. No air conditioners but there was a box fan in our room, and we brought our own fan. The breakfast area was small, and food was decent. Would like to be closer to Monterey city, but it worked out.

When I made the booking, it appeared online it was a hotel only to get there to find out. It was a motel outside doors. The hotel was comfortable, but I worry about the safety and an outside door doesn’t seem like the safest thing was kind of bland whatever

Its a quiet area, service was good, and overall the room was clean and comfy. However, the bathroom was a bit worn / not as nice looking as the rest of the foom or property. Also, the beds are very stiff and hard. Overall a decent deal, but the beds could use a foam topper or something.

The room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast option was limited but other than that, I enjoyed the 1 night stay overall. The reason I gave 3 stars is that I accidentally left my dress in the closet. I clearly remember it because I hanged it in there as soon as I checked in because it was a linen dress and I didn’t want it to be wrinkled in the suitcase. I asked my husband to remind me if I forget about it on the next morning, but we were kind of in a hurry and completely forgot about it. I remembered it when we came back home from travel 3 days later and called the hotel, but the front desk said that there’s nothing in the lost and found and that means there was no dress left in the hotel room. I explained the situation and they said that there’s a low chance to find it back but they will call me after asking to the house keeper the next morning. It was my new, favorited dress and I really wanted to get it back but they didn’t call me back.

The exterior of the property is nice, I rented two rooms. 1) two bugs on the wall next to the bed. Carpet should have been replaced years earlier. Gross. 2) second room had broken toilet seat, screen on sliding door would not work, glass on door either was leaking from dual panes or needed to be replaced because of baked on dirt. The free breakfast was a joke from the frozen butter to the raw sausage and microwave fried eggs, bread was beyond being old. Never again. There is no smoking on property, this should have been explained at time of reservation. It is hard to believe this place could have anywhere near an average or above rating.

It’s an older property compared to most in which I’ve stayed recently. However, it is clean and maintained well enough. The breakfast room is rather small and got crowded close to the end of breakfast service (9am). The food was typical of hotel free breakfast and the staff were friendly and attentive to refilling and cleaning up.

It was a 6 minue walk from my room to the TSA check point at the Monterey airport.

No concessions available. Machines, not owned by Comfort inn had been broken into. Found a sharp object in one of my beds. After sticking in my thumb and stopping the bleeding, I checked out the other bed and that was good. Will not return.
