Basic hotel in good location. eds a little hard, no breakfast, but in room coffee and good shower. Good English at front desk.

I like this hotel, They provide good services, I feel comfortable. And location not bad, near subway station.

The refrigerator was not clean and cold enough for keeping food and water

5 minute walk to the Metro. In a quiet neighborhood. Staff was friendly but with limited English (although better than other hotels I stayed in China). Room had a view of Pudong Skyscrapers when there was no smog. Great breakfast.

Couldn't find the hairdryer, so not sure if there is one. The heating switched itself off midnight for some reason but came back on afterwards. Otherwise, love the small and cosy room with a balcony. The bed was great!

Overall a great location. Somewhat disappointed in the accommodations, compared to previous locations in the city for comparable prices, but there were some issues with housekeeping and management concerns: 1) Upon checking in, my room had a half-used bottle of body wash. 2) While the hotel provided currency exchange, no receipts were provided to enable a reverse exchange.

The Anting Villa is where I stay whenever I am in Shanghai -- wonderful place!

A nice & quite street in a big city.

I'm quite regularly in China and thought I would try out a new accommodation. Anting Villa is half the price of where I normally stay and a nicer Hotel. Good breakfast as well.

Impressive exterior and entrance. Placed near 2 metro stations and a handful of bars, restaurants. Some reception staff are able to speak English. TV and movie options were limited, and the gym didn't open until 9am. A little late for those who want to get out and explore. Very good and reasonably priced breakfast buffet.

A native of Shanghai, I now live in New York City. I stayed at Anting Hotel for 7 days. The place is located in a city center, bars, shops and subway. The hotel restaurant offers yummy Shanghai-style-buffet-breakfast. They also have tea room. Door mans and services were descent. The room is small, 12 sqt. maybe, but the bed is very comfortable. The first 2 nights, there were noise from the streets construction during 2 - 4:30 AM. On 8/6/2017, I was awaken at 2 AM by loud noise again. I called the front desk and I was told that the hotel had no control of the noise. It was a city project. I am a media receptor, I went to the street, photo/video the situation. I obviously did not sleep well that day. The next day, after my complaining, the hotel manager changed my room and awarded me 5 breakfast tickets. Over all, this is a very nice hotel. I will stay there again.

Anting Villa is a wonderful little Chinese-style hotel, with many homey touches and superb service. Rooms are on the small side, but cozy. Breakfast is wonderful, and theres even a gym. The hotel is set in an elegant park, adjacent to a pair of old mansions in the former French Concession. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance, as well as at least two subway stations on three different lines.

Hotel is super great location, in the middle of everything on foot and not far from the attractions.

This hotel has a very good location in the French Concession. It is very close to the Metro and you can also walk to many restaurants in the area. The hotel is quite dated and the A/C does not work well. This price is resonable but I only would stay in this hotel again for the location.

Elegant setting, French concession, quiet neighborhood, subway station nearby, overall, had a very pleasant stay. Local friend was surprised at how found this hotel.

Great Hotel, quite and nice surrounding. Close to MRT and plenty of bars and restaurants.

i have stayed here before and always recommend this hotel. good location easy to get around. i made a mistake on my booking about the number of beds and they didn't want to help fix it and wanted to charge me. they also put me on a smoking floor. it took a long time for management to want to help. I'm used to this but this was a first at this hotel. i still think this is a good hotel and won't let just one person affect my view of the hotel.

Great stay, will definitely stay again when we are in Shanghai!
