The room was clean, but small. The beds were very comfortable, and so were the pillows. We paid more for a room with a river view, but the windows were dirty and there was something blocking our view on the left side. Breakfast was good, but ended at 9.

Wonderful, quiet room overlooking the river. Very comfortable beds, spacious room, and nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet was super great, with biscuits & gravy, egg & cheese omelets, link sausage and a variety of muffins and rolls. Also “bold” coffee, which my daughter and I love!

Front desk staff was not very friendly when we arrived. I think you should acknowledge someone when they walk in. The room was dated but clean. Air conditioner would not stay on fan so was constantly going on and off all night. Breakfast was good.

The Pool and whirlpool were dirty. The pool was very cold.

We had 2 queen beds that were comfortable.. the room was clean. There was no where to sit. One wood desk chair, that was it. So the second person had to sit on the bed... not that comfortable.

Nice room. OMG!!!!! A Keurig coffee maker, I’m in Heaven. Comfy bed, decent pillows, clean bathroom, frig and microwave. Had a river view …. What more could I ask for? Ok, maybe one of the balcony rooms, but all in all, it was very nice. The kids didn’t like the pool area, the smell of chlorine was a bit overpowering. Nice breakfast room and selection of food items.

The beds were comfortable and this was a nice sized room for 3 of us. Would recommend

We chose this property since it was pet friendly. Upon check-in, we were told they couldn’t accept our cat. They clarified that cats aren’t allowed at this property since there are many hunting dogs that stay there and they didn’t want to have a fight. It got cleared up and our cat was allowed to stay. Room was comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. Staff was very helpful.

Very very clean. The employee's are very nice, friendly and appreciated. . The Lobby is beautiful, the breakfast was great. Best biscuits and gravy in a long time. Will be back next year!!!!

Pictures are of not the updated property- def not worth the money I had invested in the stay. Outdated furniture, lights took a while to warm up, lights by the bed didn’t even turn on.

Stay was adequate, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Very nice area too bad we couldn’t have enjoyed the scenery, hotel is near the river that goes thru Fort Pierre and Pierre but the weather was not favorable.

This is a clean and reasonably priced place to stay just a few steps away from the Missouri River. Close enough to the highway for easy access but far enough away to keep traffic noise at bay. This is where I always choose to stay when visiting Pierre/Fort Pierre. Spend a few extra bucks on a river view room - it's absolutely breathtaking.

We found dirty underwear in our room behind the door upon checking in, and also had no working tv in living room. Were told it was a maintenance problem and they couldn't help us.

We were looking for a hotel with ample parking for our big trailer and we found it here! Gentleman at the desk was wonderful and offered discounts as they only had 1 room left! Room was great and clean! The lounge was super fun! Defiently stay here again!

A room on the east side of the hotel overlooking the river would’ve been nice, but I got to look out at the parking lot instead. ;-) I was only there for one night and I worked from my room and slept. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had more offerings than expected too. Appears to be the best hotel in Pierre/Fort Pierre based on other hotel reviews. Will only stay at AmericInn if in town overnight again.
