A great hotel in the old city of Budva. Our room was very spacious, the beds were comfort and the view from the balcony was stunning. The breakfast was very good, with a large variety of choices. Highly recommended!

The only good thing I can say is the location and views. Staff is rude and doesn’t understand the concept of customer service. There was a bird in the restaurant every morning flying around. Even sat on the tables. They don’t have covers for the food so flies were sitting on the food. One of the elevators is broken and no time frame when it will be fixed. Rooms are a bit outdated and housekeeping does minimal when cleaning the room. There is no coffee pot in the room. So you can’t make coffee in the room. They have crazy rules no outside food or drink. Most people ignored it.

Very good hotel, extremely well situated by the old town, but the private beach is a nightmare. There are beds and parasol everywhere, one can not see tge sand anymore. A well packed sardins tin

Avala is in an incredible location and the private beach access and free parking is key in Budva! My only gripe was housekeeping and a separate mini-bar checker both came relatively early. Granted I'm a late sleeper, but I was woken each morning that I didn't use "do not disturb" tag on door.

Absolutely great location!!! The 2 bedroom Villa was wonderfully spacious and had wonderful views. The pool was awesome. Very walkable and a nice breakfast. Housekeeping was non existent and the escalator only worked half the time. By the end of the trip it was annoying to ask to have it “turned on”. Not a reason to not book this hotel… just some suggestions on how they could do better for the price point.

The property is lovely and such a wonderful location directly beside the old town and the Budva port which is lined with restaurants and a few beach clubs.
Our room (3032) was just perfect with a direct sea view as well as of the old town to our left. The infinity pool overlooking the sea was such a relaxing place to spend a day, and just wish we had more time to explore the area better.
The breakfast was varied and good, not great. But I’m being picky here with that.
Highly recommend this hotel and so glad we chose it. :)

Lighting was poor in the bathroom, the bathroom door would open and actually trapped my wife in it on the one day. It was fixed.

No problem with cleaning. Reception staffs are helpful. When making the reservation, it was said that there is a shuttle service from the airport, but when I asked the reception at the hotel, they did not even know about it. That was interesting. Hotel has good beach. Foods were good.

Great location. Spacious rooms, many with a sea view. Wonderful spa with a big pool (good for laps). Well-equipped gym. Nice breakfast with many choices. Great staff.

Very large and luxurious rooms/suites. Almost too big in a way, but still gives a welcoming feeling. Wonderful views from balconies overlooking the ocean. Amazing breakfast area and overall selection - and really good food and coffee. Will stay again.

Close to old town that’s unique but it doesn’t have the wow factor anymore. The lobby doesn’t give you that rich feel . Not very kid friendly resort

We had a pleasant stay at Avala. Our room was wonderful and clean, and certainly exceeded our expectations. Areas for improvement: No signage directing us to where the hotel lot is (we parked at the city lot). Checkin was quick, but lacked any kind of personal touch ( what brings you to Budva?) Etc. The hotel parking lot was a mess. Cars jammed into tiny spots and completely full with nobody directing people where to park. Also, nobody asked even once how our stay was, or how breakfast was. Staff was very quick to try remove plates WHILE we were still eating. Hey, how about simply asking "hello, are you done with that plate". Hotel lacks hospitality, as does most of the country.

They have a great facility with friendly staff especially the morning staff really helpful and they give an upgrade twice to presidential suit . But evening staff need to improve them skill of dealing

We spent a good amount of time on the private beach and in the swimming pools, which were both very well maintained.Staffs were friendly and professional, although you might have to queue a bit at the reception as it’s always quite busy. But don’t worry too much about it since the lobby has plenty of seating.There are lots of restaurants / bars with good variety nearby, as the hotel is literally next to the old town.

The private beach and pools were a big plus. Location is great.
The staff is nice. The hotel has great facilities however the maintenance of the building and housekeeping are disappointing. The housekeeping standards are still very low even after all the complaints from guests for years, which is a big pity for this beautiful hotel.

Nice hotel. Good standard and central location. Outdoor pool was unfortunately closed since it was not cleaned. A little disappointing it was not cleaned asap. If you book this hotel, make sure you get ocean/pool/oldtown view. The parking lot view does not look tempting.

The Hotel is new and large very clean modern and beautiful. The location is Ideal for Old Town and the private beach and elevated pool exceptional.

Perfect for a stay in Budva, right on the beach and next to the old town. Nice outdoor pool, also an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Spacious halls and restaurant. Nice view from the pool and the restaurant terrace.
