Great place for a night stay,

Room was very clean, bed slept good, and breakfast was plentiful. The manager Belinda, greeted me and was very cheerful and welcoming to the property.

I selected a hotel with 8.0 rating early in the morning. I arrived middle afternoon and observed a empty parking lot with a property with poor upkeep. All the windows had condensation trap and moisture. After lookingnat this, I decided to get a refund but hotels.com could not get a refund from this la quinta.

The hotel and room smelled of mildew bad. Tv was very old and small and furniture was old also.

It actually made us feel that hotel would closing soon carpet was damp and the room did have a chair to sit in. We asked for a chair and were told “ we don’t have any”

The hotel did an early night audit. Our reservation stated we were a no show and canceled our reservation. We arrived at 10 PM. Show proof of reservation and paid in full. It took over a 2 hour to get a room. Had to contact Hotel.com, after going back and forth with the hotel. They finally refunded me. Had to book with the hotel which was more than I had planned. After driving all day, very tired, this could have been avoided. Myself and 3 others couples experienced the same problem.

Room was clean and spacious. Microwave is less than expected, room was very humid which caused the doors to stick.

Room was quiet and comfortable, bed was extremely comfy. However... the pool had a max occupancy of 8 people, and was nearly as warm as the hot tub. Very small. Both vending and ice macines were out of order on my floor, and guest laundry was also out of order. Our keys kept deactivating, and staff would reactivate in such a way that the other key was deactivated. Pretty inconvenient. I was told ourcell phones would wipe the card data if they were close together. This is easily fixed, and few hotels still have this old technology for that reason. The property is a bit more run-down than we expect for this brand.

Front desk agent very nice and helpful. Bathroom was spacious. Room was alright. AC in room wasn’t working well but didn’t want to switch rooms.

The service was good. The lady that checked us in was wonderful. The room was clean but it was damp feeling. The sheets felt damp, the granite was moist. The room needed a dehumidifier. The tv remote did not work. They replaced it and the replacement did not work. We relayed this information to the front desk when we left.

This is an old La Quinta and it shows. Needs lots of updating. The carpets were dirty, would not take off our socks. Linens were old and worn. Breakfast was not up to par, we skipped it.
Would I return? Not to this LA Quinta.

Pros: Staff was nice and breakfast was good.
Cons: Too many loud, barking dogs and I think the room has fleas. The entire lobby and elevator smelled like marijuana. The headboard had grease marks on it, the mirror was dirty, and the remote control was so filthy I wouldn’t touch it. Lastly there wasn’t a telephone in the room.

This hotel needs updating. The price was reasonable, compared to the surrounding hotels, but the quality has eroded with age. The people were very friendly and worked well with what they have. Old furniture and decor. It could be a much better experience.

I called a couple of times ahead of our arrival to make sure the hotel knew we would be coming in later than expected. When we arrived just before 11:00 P.M., the hotel clerk was very accommodating. (I had asked if we could have "a special dispensation" with regard to the checkout time the next morning since we had arrived so late.) The room smelled fresh, clean, and had all the amenities advertised. Also, everything worked well. The bed was clean and comfortable. We missed the free continental breakfast the next morning because we had slept a bit later than anticipated. But the friendly staff allowed us to use the dining area's toaster to toast our own bread and take a couple of Styrofoam bowls up to our room where we had our own jelly, cereal and milk. I can honestly say that we enjoyed our stay there.

Decent hotel for a rest stop while traveling. Facilities could use an update, but room was clean and comfortable. Filled the need for a comfortable rest stop on a cross country trip.

This hotel is a little old and rundown. The AC in our room didn't work too well and the coffee maker did not work. The people working there were great though.

Stay was comfortable. That time of year was too cold for the pool but the pool area was clean.
Daily Breakfast was Buffet style and well stocked.
Staff was polite, friendly, attentive and helpful.
