Excellent accommodations and stay. The breakfast food and especially the food staff was exceptional; very attentive, friendly and helpful.

First and foremost, the staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was kind, accommodating, and always ready to assist with a smile. This level of service made a big difference in our stay. The room, however, was a bit of a letdown. While the bed was very comfortable — we slept great — the room itself felt a little run-down. Some fixtures looked dated, and a bit more maintenance could really elevate the overall experience. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s worth noting if you’re looking for a more polished environment. We were excited to use the indoor pool, but unfortunately, it had an overwhelming amount of chemicals. Even without going underwater, our eyes started to burn from the air alone, which made it hard to enjoy the pool area. If the chemical balance had been managed better, it would have been a much more pleasant experience. On a brighter note, the breakfast options were fantastic! There was a great variety, and everything was well-prepared and fresh. It was the perfect way to start each morning. Overall, it was a decent stay. The stay at Hampton inn & suite hotel was great until we decided to use the pool and hot tub. For some reason both pool’s and hot tub’s water was literally cold. That was the only disappointed thing, anything else was great even with some showers/weather. Good breakfast, a lot to pick from. Friendly staff and helpful. I would consider it to stay again.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The furniture was dated, but the bed, pillows, and bedding were comfortable. The bath had a newer surround, the lighting was good, and the shampoo and lotion was nice. The refrigerator was helpful and I enjoyed sitting out back over looking the bay with stunning sunsets. Parking was included and we had no problems finding a spot. Breakfast was a nice touch and the friendly staff worked hard to keep everything full and clean. The coffee provided all day was tasty. The pool area and bar were clean and well kept. Some of loungers had stretched/broken seats, but it is the end of the season. We were able to easily walk to several restaurants, the boardwalk, and beach. There is also the bus stop right in front of the hotel and the busses run frequently.
