Main Hot tub is not working, there was a 3-person hot tub that wouldn't heat past 97 degrees. Maintenance guy scolded us abt hot tub cover. Mold on curtain.
Front desk staff was awesome.

Great stay for a night on the peaceful California north coast. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away. The room and bathroom was spacious and the grill was a nice touch. We brought burgers and grilled out under the stars.

Perfect. Remote location. Deli across the street is fabulous and the only thing around so go before 7pm! Hot tub on patio was key. Never saw another human on the property. Amazing.

We paid 350.00 for one night. the place was dirty and smelled musty. The bed was great. The outside was un-kept the wood railing in the back. Was rotten no paint, Windows were dirty.
We won't return.

This was an amazing vacation. The views were epic. Our room was cozy and clean. It was quiet and relaxing. The staff were awesome and friendly. We will definitely be going back.

There were a lot of gopher holes or some other animal, very easy to trip. Not a lot they could do but it made walking to the cliff difficult

The front desk person was great and friendly. I got a dog-friendly room and since I was mid-week had the whole bank of rooms to myself, so very quiet. The area is super quiet and remote.
The room was good. A bit dark since the only window was the sliding glass door. I wished I could lock the screen because I wanted to keep the sliding glass door open to hear the ocean. There was no locking mechanism. As a solo traveler It's these little things that help.
The grounds were ideal to walk my dog before turning in. The landscaping is great and there's plenty of light at night.
As a solo traveler I probably wouldn't stay again but seems like a nice place for a couple.

Room was fantastic; bed extremely comfortable, hot tub very relaxing. Water in the hot tub needs to be changed more frequently and the room needed a more thorough cleaning, lots of spider webs and the fan threw dust everywhere when we turned it on.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would consider coming back in the future.

The lodge is adjacent to the Pacific, and you can get down to the beach area with a bit of a walk/climb. The views are great, and the hot tub that we had with our unit made it great to sit out at night and watch the stars.

Really nicely appointed room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, satellite TV, etc. Josh, the manager was very friendly and informative. Very quiet, view of the ocean, small outdoor space, hot tub on the grou ds - I was very happy with it.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Fort Ross Lodge. It is an area of outstanding beauty along the Californian west coast and the lodges are well maintained and very homely.

The place was clean and the location was beautiful. My wife and I came to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary and we had a delightful time. The BBQ on the private patio was great but we do with there was salt and pepper in the room. The hot tub was a little dirty but they aren't in season yet so that could be why. Overall we will be back again next year!

It’s a cute lodge. I liked all the dinner ware they provide in the rooms. Every room has an ocean view. The hot tub was very nice.
On the down side: the bathroom is a bit out dated.

Excellent and friendly service, clean and comfortable room, pretty grounds, and great cafe/deli on premises make this a great spot to stay on the Sonoma coast. It is also dog friendly which is great, and easy to prepare food in case you don't feel like going out.

Michael was great at check-in and room supplies.
Room was good, hot tub was great but the jets are a little too much. Sauna was great.
Wasn't too crazy about the Rueben served at the store across the street but maybe it was because Anthony did not make it. Pretty bland and skimpy for the price.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We had a very nice time at the Fort Ross lodge. We felt that the advertised description was accurate. There was indeed a partial view of the ocean which was very enjoyable. Moreover we had a private patio area where I could enjoy my cigar. There was a hot tub for us to enjoy as well. The staff, particularly Anthony was most accommodating - which we most appreciative of. There was a common patio where there was fire pit and an ocean view; absolutely delightful! (It helped that we had a very nice sunset to enjoy too). The only slight negative was that after a heavy rain, the bathroom floor was wicking up moisture (from the ground I assume; it was a bit damp, but we were given extra towels to soak up the excess moisture). Everyone was friendly and helpful.
