All in all, it was fine, but the beds were not comfortable and I was ending up with two nights originally and canceled that second night because of the did not get a good night sleep. View was ok

Upon check-in, we weren't told that anything was wrong with the room. However, we quickly discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working. We called the front desk, and were told that a technician would be right up. Called again 30 minutes later, and again told a technician would come up. After an hour of waiting in the oppressively hot and humid room, we began to suspect a larger problem. We went down to the front desk. In the elevator I asked another guest if they had a/c. They said they did, but that they heard that everyone on the 2nd floor didn't. At the front desk they confirmed the a/c problem, and said that a/c company would come by the following day. So they would of had us waste the entire evening waiting for a technician that would never arrive! We got back to the room, discussed it briefly, and decided to cancel our stay and find another hotel. We did, and ended up very happy with the other hotel.

Room was dirty. TV didn’t work. They replaced it. AC stopped working we ended up switching rooms 3 days into our 7 day stay. New room was cleaner and cooler. Staff was nice. Ice machines don’t work. Pool is Uber 4 foot and dirty. Location is nice.

No ac on several nights Management did not want to hear about complaints. Moved to three different rooms don’t stay due to flooding and other issues

We were right by the beach, which made beach days convenient. I didn’t have anyone to watch my pup on short notice. The hotel is pet friendly, which made it an obvious choice for our trip.

The room size was good but the chairs didn't look clean the room was really muggy like they need to put humidifiers in them. Rooms smelled like dirty mop water. We slept on top of the blankets because the sheets felt icky probably from the humid Air. My family had 3 rooms here and it was just too much to try to find something else with 6 kids last minute. Even the kids did not trust the sheets, they also did not like the pool said the water was cloudy hopefully no rashes to follow. We stayed out most of the day just to come in and sleep for the night. It really needs a good cleaning and humidifiers in the rooms. But I was not happy about paying nearly 500 per night per room to be uncomfortable regardless of the area I was staying.

Elevator was awful..hotel room floor was filthy, we had to wear shoes, our feet were so dirty. The handrail in the ground level is broke..we almost fell going up the stairs. My room door key fob was damaged..hard to open door every time. Pool area GROSS! Trash everywhere..pool was dirty and haor all in it. Never any pool towels available.

My room smell like mold. You could see mold around the air conditioning vents and stuff on the ceiling

Best Ryokan experience

The hotel was clean but did not like being on the same floor with with pets.

Our stay was excellent, very enjoyable. No problems.

The service was horrible this hotel has gone down in service, the AC is the room was not good locked at 68 when it was over 100 degrees outside. The room was filthy the floors disgusting not swept or mopped the fridge didn’t work correctly. The garbage was overflowing in the lobby the breakfast was horrible I’ll make my reservations next year at the Hilton or Marriott hotels this place does not deserve a stay period.

Floors were dirty, tub clogged, towels had black statins, ice machine was not working on any of the floors. Staff were really nice for the most part, but housekeeping was lacking.

My family had a 2 night stay here for a mini vacay away. Overall, the location and hotel was a good experience. I will say the floors were sandy, but other than that I would stay again. Love that they offer complimentary breakfast options. Short walk away to the boardwalk and beach is an added plus.

Pros: Staff were all very friendly and willing to assist. Property was walkable to the beach which was our highest priority! Convenient parking as well. Cons: Room had a moldy/ mildew smell. A/C never got lower than 74 degrees in the room (211), even after having maintenance service the A/C. Room was cool throughout the day with the curtains shut but sleeping was difficult as I run hot at night. Dispenser in the shower was in a super inconvenient spot as I couldn’t shower comfortably. Elevators also take very long to come and go so stairs were our preferred mode.

Need trash can near table or room .I only have one trash can in toilet room

Our room floors were filthy like that hadn't been mopped, the floors were black. The balcony plastic chairs were broke and you could not sit in them. The toilet leaked, there were ants in the bathroom and there was no drain plug for the sink in the bathroom. I would not recommend this place and I would not stay here again. The pool was cloudy with debris on the bottom.

Need to address the ice machine issue, only one machine worked and pool cleanliness

The hotel is in a good location, closed to most good restaurants and not far from the boardwalk. But, the first day we got there, we had troubles with our hotel Wi-Fi connection, that evening we found out our bathtub drain was clogged. We asked to switch a room if it's possible, they said all the rooms were occupied.

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. After 15 minutes of being in the room we stayed in my kids feet were black from walking around the room barefoot. The kitchenette had a garbage can without garbage bag and had garbage inside the garbage can. We asked them to clean the room, which they did (it did get a little bit better) but we had to ask them again for a garbage bag for the garbage can in the kitchenette (even though we had mentioned it to them before). Not to mention that the curtains were filthy the furniture had splash stains and the sheets we asked for the pull out sofa had a big yellow stain on them. But the worst of it was every time we would come back to the room the door was open, not unlocked but open because the door wouldn’t close all the way unless we would push it all the way shut, and since we noticed that we would make sure it was all the way shut and locked but once again every time we came back to the room the door would be open. The cherry on top of the cake was when we were all in the room someone walked in our room with a key and said the front desk gave them our room for them to stay in. So, I will never again stay at this hotel without a doubt.

first room we were in the shower shot water all over the ceiling and floor. Moved to a second room and there was a half eaten sandwich with fries in the fridge.

Nice room and bed I recommend this hotel to anyone

There could have better communication at check in, they didn’t have a lot of amenities that were promised and had it not been for having to stay there we would have left.

it was perfect for our family this year the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. the only thing that is water pressure could have been better but it was overall a great stay for us.

The only thing that was bad was the WiFi. We had a room at the end of the hotel on the top floor and didn’t get any service in the room.

Gave us the wrong room for the whole week. Didn’t have room for the anything in the room because of it and had food wasted because we purchased the bigger room but didn’t get it

This property allows dogs which I am okay with but I think they need to ask those wothiut dogs are you okay next to someone with one ALL NIGHT TWO DOGS BARKING DROVE ME NUTS AND IT SMELLED LIKE DOG

So much pet small, Dog is barking too much. Didn’t know this hotel is pet friendly. Sands is on bed sheets, floor and hallways. Bad house keeping!

We had very enjoyable stay.

The hotel staff was friendly however they need to be better about cleaning. Why have someone check in and the room not be cleaned prior. They’re was a fake nail on the floor , the elevators and hallway were constantly dirty. We understand that it’s a beach town but we never saw them cleaning.
