The property location was great. Our room was nice- great bed/pillows. The back balcony was really nice to sit back and relax at. Very helpful- we went to the office and they gave us a couple dinner suggestions.

I recently stayed in a charming, albeit very touristy, location boasting some of the most spectacular ocean views. This quaint getaway features just 8 apartments, all of which face the ocean—mere 10 feet away from the water at high tide! It's a truly serene experience to watch the wildlife swimming right before your eyes. The area is bustling with activities, and there's no shortage of stores and restaurants to explore. For a scenic treat, I highly recommend taking a drive towards Gloucester. The route is lined with stunning properties owned by the affluent—a sight to behold! For the best experience, try to book a room on the second floor; the elevated view of the ocean is simply unbeatable. I'm already looking forward to extending my next stay here. It's a perfect spot for anyone wanting to soak in coastal beauty and local culture.

Sweet little hotel with the best views!

Absolutely beautiful little property!

Location, location, location. Amazing views and sound of ocean. Walk to shops and food. The positives: Excellent location and good service and clean. But beds and soft and pillows are like rocks, walls thin and neighbors kept us up with their talking on the porch, plastic cups and mediocre coffee amenities. Overall very average - u pay for the location.

We loved the location and the rooms were very cozy. We had a peaceful and quiet sleep.

I was here 20 years ago and it is just as wonderful as it was then.

This is the most beautiful location you could stay at. Adorable local area. Very walkable. Easy parking and check in. Very very clean. Have coffee on the porch. Watch the sunset from bed over the water. Swim in the ocean at the beach a 7 minute walk away. Perfection.

My stay was great! Though both my daughter and I had knee issues, we preferred the top floor and to be at the end was another bonus. I had one issue and that was answered positively, immediately. That kind of service is often hard to come by.

For a perfect weekend of just listening to the waves, this is the ideal place. The location is perfect for shopping the galleries. Could not have asked for any place any nicer.

Great location! Right near all of the shops. And the shops are fun, general small spaces run by the local artists. Great area to walk around. Parking right at the Lodge was good. We took the small room (1 queen bed) and initially it did feel a bit tight, but once we figured it out it was fine and fit our needs. The staff was great and very helpful with everything. Room was ready in advance so we could go right in.

You can not beat the view and find a better location if you wish to have the whole village in a moments walk out your door! The rooms which you might expect to be old school Motor Lodge(y) have been tastefully updated to have a cottage chic appeal and MOST of all in my book is that it was COMPLETELY clean!

Bearskin Neck Motor Lodge is charming, clean and has amazing views of the bay. I would stay again!

This place is very clean, convenient and comes with a million-dollar view right outside your balcony. I loved the contactless check-in and check-out. Communication via email and text made it very easy. The rooms are pretty basic but have some nice updates and everything we needed including comfy beds, a small coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and a nicely stocked bathroom. The only downsides are the nearness of the street (mostly foot-traffic) and the balcony being one long run with no separation between rooms. On the other hand, if friends or family are in adjacent rooms they will share common space! It was not a place I’d feel comfortable bringing small children due to the drop down to the rocks below the simple balcony railing. So the outside of the building would benefit from some updating but we slept like babies and were very happy in our room. 😊

Krystle was extremely helpful with tips and communication. She was very efficient in letting us know that we could check in early, providing supplies so we get what we needed. She provided a microwave to reheat our leftovers. She let us know about the harbor master and their number for on shore fishing questions. Texting worked for us because she responded so quickly 😀 Our room was comfortable and had a great view. We enjoyed the deck for snacks, lunch and nature watching. Especially loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go easily; no hunting for parking spots !!!

I had the best sleep in the last 30 years!!! Absolutely great hotel, in the great place!
