I had another great stay at the Clipper hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. The room size was perfect for me. The front desk was very helpful. Chianna at the front desk was great. Housekeeping was superb. The lady who makes breakfast makes a great omelet. Great staff and my favorite hotel in Makati.

They debited my CC twice as well as wanted a cash deposit on arrival...So effectively paid for the room twice...will dispute transaction when I get home...Be careful booking through expedia with your CC...Not recommended.

Lovely small hotel,very clean rooms,great location.

We were early there and the lady at front desk allowed us to check in once the room was available. It was very kind and sweet. Hot water of shower was provided via solar energy. Better to take shower early if enjoying hot shower. The towels we got were thin and old. Better to bring your own if you care.

The staff were beyond amazing. They were all kind, professional, respectful and went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible during my stay. I was staying alone for 10 days when the Taal Volcano erupted, and I got extremely anxious, having no one I knew in the Philippines. I started having a sore throat and coughing, but then masks were sold out everywhere. I was feeling extremely nervous about the whole situation. However, this really nice lady went to buy a package of masks for me, and all I had to do was pay her back. There were also other things they did for me which surprised me for the level of their kindness, but I won't disclose the details to protect privacy. The man who cleaned my room every day was so kind and professional also. The only thing which I thought could improve was the wifi speed, that's it. Overall, this hotel literally felt like an oasis to me during my whole stay. I am immensely grateful for the great level of comfort that they provided me. フィリピンに用事があり１０日間一人で滞在しないと行けなかった際、評判が良かったこちらにしました。スタッフの方々の対応が素晴らしかったです。滞在中にタール火山が噴火し、喉の違和感や咳が出てきたときは、一人だったのでとても不安でした。どこに行ってもマスクは売り切れでした。しかしフロントの方が買ってわざわざ来てくださり、あとでお金を渡しました。 空港はその頃たくさんのフライトがキャンセルになったりして私のフライトは大丈夫だろうか、など本当に不安だったのですが、皆さんが本当に優しく、このホテルはこころのオアシスのような感覚でした。 清掃員の男性もとても親切でした。 一つだけ改善点を挙げるとwifiが遅かったことです。 スタッフの方の優しさとプロフェッショナルさのおかけで、滞在中の不安もかなり和らぎました。どうもありがとうございました。

The clipper is a very good hotel nice and clean, well located and the staff is very professional, a big thanks to the staf for their help and the secrurity they provided, i felt very safe. I strobgly recommend this hotel and i will definitely comeback next time

Great little Deco styled hotel with only 12 or 13 rooms. Reminded me of 1970's Tangier. Very Mediterranean Excellent desk and staff with Cristine handling the front. They helped me get a room back after missing a PAL flight. Good, cheap breakfasts and a decent Adobo. The process is right for a safe location in Makati's business district.....

I enjoyed my stay at the clipper hotel, the bed was one of the most comfortable in all my trips around Asia, The breakfast was nice, but a serving of fruits eg: banana or water melon would be much appreciated, as would bottled water everyday. The only thing i didn't like was the WiFi, it was painfully slow and at times refused to connect, which is very frustrating when one is trying to move funds through the banking system. Please fix that. Everything else was good. Cheers

Staff girls are excellent the only down side are the uncomfortable beds two singles pushed together if they bought new king beds or even queen size the stay would have been excellent

the hotel is too noisy for me. the wifi too slow and I showered to cold water at 2a.m. You can crash here for a short stay, otherwise I would look for other options. The location is good, Makati Ave is a vibrant area, but also with adult nightlife, so not for children.

Room AC not working when I arrived late. Hotel staff finally got it working by flipping switches so I didn't trust it for the night. I asked to be moved but was told no other rooms available. I asked for a refund and they refused saying it would be fixed tomorrow but I was only there one night. I decided to goto eat allowing the room to cool down. In order to do this you have to leave your room key inside the room in a wall outlet to power the room. Power goes off when removed. I arrived back at the room around 2am. I stopped at the front desk to ask for another key but they already knew I needed one. I thought this was strange. When I got to the 3rd floor with no elevator I entered my room and found it to be 100 degrees again. The staff and entered my room when I left and removed my key to turn everything off. I was furious. I have a medical condition that doesn't allow me to be so heated. I also found they had removed my water I placed in the fridge. I had to set in a chair in front of the AC for an hour until the room cooled off. The bathroom has an open vent that can not be shut so the bathroom door has to be left shut causing the temperature in there to remain 100 degrees always. I then retired to bed. That is when I found that the queen bed I paid for was actually two twin beds pushed together. A device was used to fill in the gap so laying in the center of the bed is impossible. My girlfriend had to sleep on one side and I the other. Heard traffic noise and lady boys.
