#not sponsored James Boutique Hotel has been the best hospitality experience in Europe so far. We arrived late in the night at Colmar so could not find a taxi. We had informed the hotel about this and asked them to arrange for a taxi. To our surprise, the hotel owner came himself to pick us up in his car. We cannot thank him enough for this gesture. The service, the cleanliness, the hospitality was perfect. We would highly recommend James Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Colmar. The location is nearby the city centre and you can cover all the tourist attractions by foot.

Oh my goodness! What a find! This is the cutest little hotel that is quite modern. The staff was incredible and so helpful. They have a map of the town and restaurant suggestions that helped us tremendously! The breakfast was delicious with so many options! We hope to go back someday!

This property was just a couple of blocks from the heart of the Christmas markets, and was perfect for my stay!

The room is very dusty, didnt sleep well. It may be because the hotel is right next to the construction site. Couldnt use the balcony at all.

In a town that is very charming this hotel is not intended to be charming. The room was clean and modern, but it was rather sterile. I liked the bathroom, but hated the bathroom sliding door as it didnt close all the way.

Hôtel Saint James As the song goes “C’est magnifique!!” We came the first week of October, so even the weather was great! It is a modern hotel. The room is spacious, with enough room to place all the luggage and clothes. Toilet is also big enough and everything was very clean. Breakfast is a buffet, they serve scrambled eggs or you can boil or cook your eggs. Different kinds of ham, bacon, sausage, etc. There are different sorts of fruit, bread, croissants, jam, marmalade, butter. You can also have tea, chocolate or different kinds of coffee. Tha restaurant only serves breakfast, but you can ask them to serve you soup and dessert in a package to take it up to your room. There is also a supermarket next door, in case you need anything. A ten minute walk will get you to the centre of town, 5 to the closest museum and some shops. But the hotel is really worth the short walk. All the girls are lovely and so much willing to help you. I would love to stay once again in this hotel. The staff were wonderful both Anais and Rosa/suzan always had a wonderful smile every time they greet us

James Boutique Hotel was a superb luxury location on the edge of the town centre of Colmar. Staff were very attentive and the ambience of the bar was comfortable! Perfect

The historic district is a easy walk from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is every helpful and accommodating and the breakfast is very good. The parking is easy. We would stay again.

A great hotel located a few minutes' walk from the historic centre of Colmar. Excellent room and service. Super quiet. Safe parking. Overall a great stay.

Problem was construction for multi floor building next door. No mention when booking. Unable to sleep underground construction began before 7am. Left a day early because of the noise factor. They would not refund the day charge or consider reducing the the unused stay.

The hotel is in a central location to the old town. Unfortunately the property adjacent to the hotel in under construction. A large crane and heavy machinery is very loud at 7am making sleeping in impossible We left a day early because of the noise. The hotel stated it was not their construction and could not help us. Therefore we left and paid for a night we did not use

The family run hotel is pretty new with that modern, clean, organized feel but with lots of tasteful decor in the hotel and the rooms. We would stay there again for both the hospitality, great breakfasts which included butter brioche buns, self serve boiled eggs, scrambled eggs by a Michelin restaurant chef in town, Alsatian sausages, fantastic fresh pressed orange juice, mixed fruit, and great coffee machine. The rooms are very clean and are environmentally friendly updated. The lotions, shampoos, and soaps are all of high quality and environmentally friendly. Includes a towel warmer which helps in not having the towels cleaned as much. Location is about a 10 minute walk to the old downtown where lots of the restaurants, bars, other hotels, and the river canal. A great stay for a very clean hotel with pleasant staff and short walk to downtown.

Wonderful place

This hotel is in a working area so we were a little hesitant at first. Hard to find where to pull in at first. Parking looked sketchy but was fine. The staff here is EXCELLENT and the hotel is very very clean and nice. The only drawback is housekeeping does not follow the do not disturb sign so becareful. We would stay here again if we could not stay where we normally stay and would also recommend the hotel to our friends.
