Staff was not courteous or helpful. Did not feel welcomed. Room was not ready at time of check-in. Stains on pillow case. No coffee maker in room. Breakfast buffet ran out of food and coffee one hour before it ended. Was charged for parking even though i didnt have a car and front desk would not adjust bill- have to call GM to get it fixed. Shuttle not operating- sat broken down in front of building. Hotel not in a very safe neighborhood.

Moderately clean, there was literally no hot water. This is a deal breaker for myself and my family. We communicated there were three guests there were only two towels in the bathroom. We will not stay here again.

Booked multiple rooms here for our group attending a wedding. The hotel is centrally located and not too far from places in the Pittsbburgh area. Hotel lobby was well maintained and staff very professional.
We did have a few comments which could help the management from our experience here:
1) when we checked in, we received a paper parking sheet which we left in the car window (we assumed this was to verify that the owner was renting with the hotel). When we checked out - we were charged $15 (w/ taxes) daily for parking. We were not notified when we checked in that there was a parking charge per day.
2) our hotel room was clean, but there needs to be better checks on the maintanance for the rooms. (a) Our hot water in the bathroom was running in the sink continuously for 3 days - it was obvious for anyone doing cleaning that it would not stop (we tried!). (b) the right side light in the bathroom mirror was burned out - obvious again in any cleaning process - never was repaired. (c) The room was supposed to have a hair dryer (ours did not; assumed the previous guests walked away with it); we borrowed one from the one of the other rooms we rented - but checking these during cleaning would help. (d) Breakfast is listed to be available until 10am. I went down with my brother at 9:45 and everything had already been removed (we ended up going down earlier the remaining mornings).

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good. It was an easy trip back to UPMC hospitals in the morning. We are actually staying again tonight

This hôtel is very clean, confortable and very good service. Unfortunatly, somebody tried to steal our car during the night. This is not the hotel’s fault. The staff did everything to help me with the situation and this is was very appreciated.

We stayed there for a Steelers game. Staff was friendly, room was very clean. Street front view is a little sketchy looking. Breakfast was not very good. Eggs were not cooked, some kind of weird sausage links, but did have waffles, cereal and bagels.

The staff was very unprofessional. We waited over an hour in the lobby to get our room.

Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was pretty hectic and delayed. They had several staff call off which slowed the room readiness. Some staff walked away from the desk in the middle of helping guests. Not much communication about when rooms would be available or who was getting rooms first. The A/C was at 52 degrees when we got into the room and was tough to change. Stayed cold the whole night. Decent area but a noticeable homeless presence around the hotel. Didn't feel threatened at all but it's worth noting.

The first night there was blood all on my sheets and then they gave a second night and on the second night my kids were screaming because there was a mouse running around the room and when told to the staff he act as if it wasn’t a big deal

Hotel was ok, staff were great, average room, bathroom smelt like urine, shower smelt musty, the neighborhood was not the greatest at all, my daughter and husband went to get something out of the car and some people hanging out in the parking lot didn’t see my husband and was approaching my daughter asking her how old she was and telling her she was pretty and tried touching her hair, my husband had to step in. Breakfast was very basic, overall it was an average hotel, the rooftop patio was beautiful!

Great location and free shuttle service to all 3 sports stadiums was huge. One driver was pretty rude, the other was fantastic. Desk staff was nice. Room was clean and modern , bed was a little stiff. Breakfast was very average , bad eggs and waffle machine not working. Rooftop patio to have a drink was nice too. Overall a great stay in Pittsburgh

pleasantly surprised...was expecting a decent 2 night stay, but found this little gem to be exceptional! From the comfort of the room and bed to the cleanliness of the whole place. Very helpful, friendly staff (especially front desk April and staff member Deena). Two very good breweries within walking distance AND free shuttle offered to main events at PPG Arena! Would definitely stay again when back in Pittsburg!

The staff was super wonderful and attentive! The public areas were a bit dirty, especially the high touch areas; when the staff was alerted it seemed like were quick to let the cleaning staff know. My only real complaint is thay the curtains on the 2nd floor are completely sheer, and the black out drapes are for decoration with half panels. This is the parking lot area, so everyone could see into our room very clearly! It was hard to have any semblance of privacy.

Conveniently located and within walking distance of the Strip District and PNC Park where we attended a concert during our stay. However, the hotel dose have a shuttle service should you prefer to ride.
Roof top patio is simple but nice and a great view of the City. I would suggest installing a "sunshade/screen" of some sort. Gets hot up there quick, almost unbearable and hard to relax.

I was immediately turned off by the area surrounding the property and instantly regretted my decision to stay here. The hotel is right near the freeway underpass, is surrounded by boarded up buildings, and attracts panhandlers and prostitutes (I didn’t actually see prostitutes — or can’t confirm that who and what I saw fit the definition exactly). BUT…
…the staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and organized, and the floors were surprisingly quiet, despite what was outside the hotel.
The only complaint I have with the property itself is the wafer-thin soap bars that were provided in the bathroom. Great for washing hands, terrible for washing ass.
The hotel is ideal if you plan on spending most of your time elsewhere, especially downtown, etc. You’ll just have to look past the other stuff outside. For context, I was traveling for business.

It's a great place to stay. Convenient to PNC Park and Heinz Field. Shuttle service is a bonus! Parking is easy but an upcharge to park isn't so good if I stay there. The beds are comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very nice.

Sent us off without room number, called down and they gave us the room number of a room that wasn’t clean. Asked for new room, went and found an old hair brush under the mattress and stepped on an old earring. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs and nothing else to eat or drink

The room was fine. Check in went fine. Checkout was simple.
Breakfast was horrible. They seemed to have run out of everything. We ended up going out to get food, which messed up my budget.

Be warned. There is nothing “very good” about this hotel other than a select few of their staff, namely- Chuck and Miguel.
We traveled from NC to visit the National Aviary and attend a Pirates game. Upon arrival, you notice that the area is pretty sketchy. You have to walk from the parking lot around a sidewalk next to a busy road just to enter the building.
They had to change our room twice due to heavy weed smoke smell. The room we stayed in was clean, beds were comfortable.
There was no WiFi for our 2 day stay, the pool was out of order and the breakfast staff didn’t show up or “had to be let go”. The coffee came out of the pot warm, and there was very little to choose from for breakfast.
This poor staff has been set up for utter FAILURE by the owners. They were truly doing the best they could as pissed off guests were constantly hammering them- except for one front desk girl that refused to get off her cell phone long enough to even look up at us.
Guests were constantly discussing issues with one another- one lady entered her room only to find a mouse trap.
Absolute INSANITY.
Owners- DO BETTER. As of now, you are scamming the general public.

Hotel is in a very wierd location between some very old buildings. However it is located within walking distance to Germanstown. Area is not the greatest. It does look like they are trying to renovate the property and add more space.

I'd give this hotel 3 stars. It was ok. The amount that I paid for one night I was expecting a nice view of the city and that did not happen. The pictures of the room on the site did not match the room that my family had.

The pool had stagnant water in it. The filtration wasn’t circulating the water. I didn’t allow my kids to swim. They didn’t have enough extra pillows for our room.
