This place is such a nice spot to stay. It’s quiet, beautiful, and has everything you could possibly ask for.

Had a lovely overnight stay here. The room was absolutely beautiful with a very comfy bed. There was lots of nice touches in the room from freshly baked biscuits, DVD's & bath robes. On site parking and the most amazing choice of breakfast all served in your room. We will definitely stay here again as it was so close to everything in windermere. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely B&B the owners were very friendly and helpful, free parking was a great bonus and only a few minutes walk from the centre we really enjoyed the breakfast, we would definitely stay again next time we are visiting Bowness on Windermere.

Friendly owners, clean, bright and cheerful room. Tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Little things as well, like plug socket by bedside light so could charge phone and read book at the same time, which many large hotels can’t manage. Already planning to return next year.

What an amazing place! 10 minutes walk to Lake harbour, next to all amenities but on very quiet street with wonderful garden.

Puddle Duck Lodge is a charming, very well- equipped guest house conveniently situated close to the centre of Bowness. We spent two very comfortable nights there and greatly appreciated the huge efforts made to mitigate the risk of Covid. Breakfast was brilliant and the provision of off-street parking was Invaluable. We unreservedly recommend Puddle Duck Lodge.

Had a lovely overnight stay at the Puddleduck Lodge as I was working in the local area fabulous room and who doesn't want their breakfast delivered on a tray to their room in a morning , I'm certainly working on the wife to make it standard practice now Little gutted that the room had a separate shower and WC but it didn't stop me enjoying my stay

Excellent amenities, great location and literally the friendliest staff ever!

Don't even know where to start praising this wonderful bed and breakfast. I received a very warm welcome from David (and George, their adorable dog) on arrival. He gave me all the information I needed, stored my luggage and talked me through the breakfast order. When I arrived back after a long day of exploring my luggage was waiting for me in my room. I stayed in the Daffodil Room, it's their single occupancy room that still felt spacious and very comfortable with the bathroom just downstairs from the room. The place has been recently refurbished and they've done a wonderful job with it, they've really paid attention to detail in every possible way. The room and bathroom were spotless and everything was in good working order. The breakfast is ordered the evening before and brought up to your room at the time you pick. It was delicious, a generous portion of food and with plenty of options to choose from. I had the best time in Bowness-on-Windermere and at the Puddle Duck Lodge and hoping to return very soon.

Booked this lovely little lodge for my partners birthday and couldnt have been happier with our choice. Before we arrived I emailed the owners and asked if there was anything they could do with it being my partners birthday. They went out of their way to go and find his favourite beers, chill them and have them ready and waiting in our room on arrival. This lodge has recently been taken over by new owners and they have done an amazing job, rooms are immaculate and lots of well thought of little touches. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and brought to your room on the morning making your stay very relaxed. My partner even got a birthday card with his which was a very thoughtful and personal touch which was greatly appreciated. Location is perfect and only about a 2/3 minute walk from the lodge to pubs/restaurants/sites/shops. Could not recommended this place highly enough, the owners are more than happy to provide anything else you want or need to make sure your stay is as amazing as possible. The lodges resident doggo George was a pleasant addition to our stay and our only negative was that we couldnt take him home with us
