Gerry was a natural host. Knowledgeable of the local area and offered some great tips. Easy parking, great breakfast and cosy comfy room, with a stylish, newly refurbished private bathroom. We would definitely recommend.

We booked to stay here in a rush and just 48hrs before we arrived. We chose “The Willow” based upon its value for money and wonderful rating and as it was only showing one room left, we booked quickly. We didn’t really delve any deeper than that. It was only when the welcoming email arrived did we realise it was actually a B&B and only had one room left as it only had one room. Undeterred we continued. When we arrived we genuinely thought we’d got the wrong address and had to drive up a hill to get phone service to check. We hadn’t. The “Willow” is a private home on a nice housing estate. We returned to be greeted by Gerry who showed us around his home and was a wonderful host for the duration of the stay. We were given free run of the house and garden and our room was comfy and nicely decorated. The en-suite bathroom was actually the main bathroom, which although you do have sole use of, is across a shared landing. Breakfast was great and as mentioned Gerry was too and Crumble “The dog” liked his biscuits. So overall it was very different to what we are used to but we had a lovely stay.

The back yard had beautiful trees and happy birds. Gerry the host was outstanding.

We arrived at the Willow and Gerry was there to greet us with a big welcoming smile. The room was beautifully decorated and and we had the top bathroom all to ourselves. Breakfast was scrumptious and we even had music especially chosen for us which added to the ambience. Town was a ten minute walk which was great for us as we were going to the Abbey for a concert. We'd definitely stay at the Willow again. You couldn't get a more friendly, helping, welcoming host.

The Willow was a lovely place to stay. Gerry was so very kind and helpful. The bedroom was immaculate, as was the house. There is a lovely garden, very secluded. The breakfast was amazing, such a lovely choice. We were made to feel so welcome and should we go to Glastonbury again we will book with Gerry for The Willow

I had a great time @The Willow. Sir. Gerry is an absolute lovely Gentleman who was willing to pick me up. Had such a great chat and stay with this gentleman. A very loving and caring being who could explain where to find everything and had even brochures made as extra for anyone to find it's way around. I had a lovely time. The willow was a real home from home. Gerry the host was so friendly welcoming and helpful! The room and bed was so comfy and was definitely needed before 5 days of camping! The shower was an absolute dream! The willow is 5-10 minutes away from Glastonbury town centre where there is plenty of amenities including Glastonbury tor. If we are ever lucky enough to get tickets to the festival The willow will be our top choice for accommodation! Thank you once again Gerry you are a superstar

Lovely property & Gerry was very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was perfect. Only a short walk to town centre,the Tor & the White & Red Wells. Thank you so much the only thing that was missing was a tv in the room but easily solved with an iPad & BBC iplayer.

Greeted by Gerry as we approached the front door so made to feel very welcome. Very quiet small garden with trees - neat, tidy and teaming with bird life.

Gerry was the best host possible, friendly, helpful and attentive but at the same time respecting our privacy. The house and garden were lovely, the bed was very comfortable, the continental breakfast superb and I cannot think of a better setup if you are happy to be in a room sharing a house with a host.

The stay was great, host friendly and helpful, made you feel welcome. The town is brilliant spent whole day walking round.

My stay at the willows was exactly what I wanted and needed. As a host, Gerry was excellent. He was friendly, attentive and very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

The willow it is not an hotel even it is advertised as one Jerry is a great host he came to pick me up at the coach station and waited for me even if the coach was very late but I believe peoples should know that it is a private house rather than a hotel but overall was a pleasant experience

I had a very nice stay at the Willow, Gerry is a very nice man and host and he did everything to make myself comfortable. The room and toilet is clean and comfortable, the bed mattress bit old and not super comfy. The toilet is not in the room, it is in the house and he said he would not use it while I was in the house. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices and super nice jazz music background. Just one note it was not clear to me this is an house, as it was not rated like this. He just rent a room of his own house, it is not a B&B… it should be clearer specified in the description as I wouldn’t chose this place for this price and I didn’t feel comfortable staying with a man in the house even if he was super nice.
