Beautiful and clean. Smack bang on the slopes. Lovely spot for breakfast overlooking the scenery.

Beautiful interior design. Ski in, ski out. Good ski equipment room. Nice cafe with nice espresso coffee and great view of piste. Lovely view from bedroom. Super comfortable bed. Friendly & helpful Staff.
Lack of towel rails. Lack of fridge in room. Wrong room was given to us. Though this was compensated by a $100 restaurant credit. Shabu-shabu meal was very overpriced.

Location -great as could just step out of accommodation and ski down to lift
Could only pay cash for lift ticket when purchased at accommodation, which we were fine with that as I had bought cash.
However, friends who were staying at same place had no cash, so we had to help out.
Maybe state on stay info that payment of cash is required on a few items at lodge.
That would be my only criticism!

Situated right beside the ski slope. Was really convenient for us as we could ski in and out + they provide good ski storage as well. Room was spacious with Japanese vibes & amazing view. Their staff Windy was super helpful. We will definitely be back.❤️

Accomodation was excellent with large rooms and great facilities.
Location on the side of ski run is fantastic.
It is a bit of a walk to the town centre which is fine without skiis or luggage, but uphill with luggage is tough.
Breakfast is good but small.
A bus stop pickup service would be great.

Great location near the slopes, basically just in front.
Nick the owner is a great guy very nice and always ready to help for everything
Surely if you have to come in Hakuba, I strongly recommend this place
Last but not least, the design of the place is quit attractive

My fiancé and I had the most amazing stay! From the location, the decadent room, the peaceful energy and the amazing staff! I loved taking a break from snowboarding and sitting in the cafe enjoying a whiskey, and being able to have a bath after a long day on the slopes made such a difference. Nick you made our stay so memorable, thank you for everything! We will be back to stay next season!

The hotel is located on the next to ski slope. everything is minimal style, room decoration, lobby and breakfast. if your plan is the accommodation for the ski only this hotel is totally appropriate to you.
The staffs are very helpful and fluent in English they help us to carry our luggages from parking lot to the lobby cause the hotel cannot park at the front of the lobby.
No any hot spring in the hotel

Our stay at Ski Inn Hakuba was a place to remember. The bespoke lodge has a beautiful and sophisticated interior which made the stay feel luxurious and romantic. The location is unreal, you can beat the queues at the Tsugaike Gondola by strapping in at your front door and riding straight down to the lift lines. The ski in / ski out access also provides the most breath-taking views of the mountain for your morning coffee and breakfast. THE COFFEE IS THE BEST IN HAKUBA. That's right, we have been to Japan 4 times and the coffee at Ski Inn Coffee shop is the absolute best. We were able to do some remote work on our rest days down in the coffee shop, a quiet space looking over the mountain with coffee and a croissant in hand. I could work from here everyday... The hosts and their service were exceptional, we loved getting to hang out with Nick, Takashi, Wendy, Mei & "Breadman." Their hospitality and personality go hand in hand, anything you need they will assist with (advice, bookings, or a friendly beer and chat!). We can't wait to come back and visit our new friends again. We highly recommend this lodge for your Hakuba visit, It is truly a wonderful place.
Nothing!!
My only advice is to organise a car hire if you wish to travel around the different valley's frequently. Tsugaike is known and famous for its unique and quiet location, so It is harder to get around if you don't have private transport!
4.5
Staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and dedicated. Nick, Windy, Takashi and team were really helpful when we had not planned properly with transportation. We are very grateful for their tips and help during our stay to make it feel like home.
The rooms are well designed and comfortable - especially with the 2 BR with living room and kitchenette. The Inn is right next to the slope, so extremely easy to jump in and out. The Inn is also equipped with a storage room with drying area for your equipment. Breakfast is simple, but simple enough to get energy for the slopes. We had the best Ski experience ever thanks to this new Inn.
Lights aren't always on in the shoe area or hallways - making it a little dark

For the first time ever, we chose our stay at a brand new hotel before it received any reviews.
The proximity of the slopes was, as promised, just a few steps from a very big and wide family-friendly piste which is perfect for kids and beginners. Speed demons would appreciate the 4-5 red & blacks above mid-station.
The ski-in ski-out hotel is situated 10-15 min drive from other resorts in the Valley. We drove out for dinner 3 of 4 nights to explore the affordable (as low as 2000 yen) local food for the adventure. If you’re lazy the in-house chef can whip up a very nice private dinner for your group upon advanced request. We had dinner in one of evenings and were pleasantly surprised that the chef had prepared a few baby-friendly dishes for Asher even though we didn’t request for it. The barista (not me) is awesome. We recommend their ice-long black or military latte (perfectly balanced matcha, white chocolate, and espresso).
In my opinion, a car is not a necessity if you’re planning only to ski on Tsugaike Kogen. Our vehicle served us well on our 5-15-minute mini-dinner adventures and getting to and from the hotel from Hakuba JR Station - taxis are hard to get here. If you intend to ski any of the other 6 nearby resorts, then a car would be a necessity. We shipped our ski bags to the airport direct using Yamato straight from the hotel with the help of the staff.
This is one of those originally traditional Japanese houses where you remove your dirty shoes in a central area and switch to communal slippers. For us Asians, this is a dream because it keeps the premises immaculately clean and adds to the charm of the location.
There is a games room with retro arcade games and a pool table that we didn’t have time to use. There’s a very thoughtful ski-storage room that can be accessed directly from a separate door with a combination lock from the outside, and another stairwell from the lobby.
Ski trips for us are about family so the two spacious bedrooms, the roomy hall (Yass!), and the mini kitchenette (for baby food prep) worked well for us. The only thing that we felt could be better was the size of the 1 bathroom shared by 3.5 people in a 2-bedroom apartment. That being said, we managed, and this was not to be unexpected in Japan. Perhaps the charm?

This is a newly renovated Japanese style hotel. It is a ski-in ski-out hotel near one of the Tsugaike Kogen slopes, you can literally slide to the door of the hotel. Rooms are big enough and clean with good facilities. They do have a big ski gear room to leave and dry your ski gear after a long day. Foods are awesome, especially its bakery, you have to try them!! Their hotel manager Nick is a super helpful guy who provides answers timely to my many many questions related to ski or others. Other hotel staff are nice too who all speak fluent English. I stayed there for more than a week and I will definitely come back again.
None.

ski in/out location was fantastic. apartment located next to a wide green run- you put skis on in their ski room, walk up the steps to get outside, and ski right down to the ticket booth to get your lift ticket; couldn't be better. Car parking was just behind the building. Spacious rooms, excellent/ very comfortable bedding with thick doonas. Great stovetop induction cooking (with a fab little rice cooker pot). Excellent wifi. Netflix on the huge TV. Accommodating and friendly staff members: helped fix heater; brought us breakfast on a tray into the apartment because we did not want to eat in the common area (to reduce risk of covid); gave us big rubbish bags to avoid them going into our apartment daily; microwaved food for us; and incredibly, hosed/ cleared the snow off our car. Staff were very hospitable without being intrusive.
Being right next to the ski run meant there was noise from snow grooming machine as early as 5am, (which we expected), and on one night, it was loud between 1am and 5.30am (which was bearable because of the comfort of the bed). The couch was uncomfortable to sit on. There was no mirror other than the one in the bathroom, no toaster or microwave in apartment.

nothing

Great location for powder hounds! 10 footsteps away from all the slopes and access at tsugaike and 9 min away from cortina. Clean, classy and spacious rooms and staff was very accommodating for different room requests! Drying room was super nice for all of our wet gear and the self serve washer and dryer were very convenient. Breakfast is minimalist, but delicious! Definitely get there early for the croissants.
Thank you for a great holiday; will definitely come back again!

The room was large and comfortable - everything was clean and newly renovated. The staff were super friendly, helpful and hospitable.
The hotel is located fairly far up the hill, but still has ski in/out access. Breakfast could have been more substantial.
