A fabulous experience, as always, made all the better by our room with a sea view. Thank you for the care and attention to your guests - it feels like being welcomed home by friends. Breakfast was delicious and we very much enjoyed relaxing in the bar after an excellent, bracing walk from town.

The hotel rooms and furniture/equipment are dated and need a refresh. Value for money dropped critically since our previous visit ... 5 years ago. Plus, they charge for overnight parking. Come on now, at the price paid for a very average night of sleep in a very average room, you they do not need to make an extra fee on parking!

It is a rare combination of comfort, charm, relaxed, boutique hotel with kind and flexible staff. A few meters from the sea front, compulsory walk after an amazing breakfast offering not only local products but the usual choices.

Very friendly and supportive staff. Receptionists were very willing to lend out extra items we asked for free, for example, extra wine opener and cooler, or an EU-UK adaptor for charging phone. Room and bathroom were very clean. Mini bar and coffee maker included. Room we had was pretty quiet and had garden view. The hotel is within a few yards from the beach area and promenades close by offer amazing views and strolls. Hotel staff were kind enough to arrange our taxi.

There is no direct sea view in any of the rooms, contrary to what was advertised on booking.com. We cannot comment on hotel breakfast as we didn't try it since we felt at 17 euros per person, we could get better deals in local cafes or even local bakery. Also, it's at least a 30 min walk to the old town, which is ok usually, but without a car, you may need to plan your routes carefully. The bus routes are pretty ok with a 2.10 euros pp per ride valid for 1.5 hrs at the time we tried it, and bus stand few metres away from hotel.

The pleasant communication both before and after arrival .Room 130 ideal for us with own parking. The breakfast room staff both mornings really friendly and efficient. Lovely breakfast.

The bar meals were pre-prepared so could not alter component parts of meal. Tasty but not what we expected.

The hotel is lovely and cozy, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. I also really liked the amenities like a fridge and a coffee maker although the provided coffee pads were quite scarce and we weren’t able to find them in the supermarket. The hotel is very close to the beach as well.

The hotel is walking distance from town but not so close that you would walk it several times a day (we walked 20km on the first day). For the price you pay at the hotel, I think a form of transportation to town should be included. Like a bike or a scooter or something. We now paid €23 per person per bike. When we were well on our way, we discovered the tires were deflated so we needed to find a bicycle shop to solve that issue. Later on, when we returned and put our bikes to the side so it was clear that they weren’t available, another receptionist rented our bikes to another couple. She had to bikes left for us but they also had deflated tires so we could start over with putting air in the tires and getting the saddles in the right position. It’s nothing big but for a hotel in this price range, I expect a little more.
