The apartment was lovely, in a lovely location and Tequise is lovely and close enough to walk. The main disappointment was we booked this because it has access to a lovely pool, as advertised. However, there was NO KEY to allow us to access the pool. Unless someone else was in, who was kind enough to open it for us to be able us access. There were days this was not possible, so we could not use the pool. On one occasion my daughter got locked in and we had to knock on doors to find someone to open the gate. I emailed the owner and he replied after some hours and advised there is no key as it has been lost or damaged and suggested we could climb the wall and walk round. I am 58 and don't want to be climbing walls and there is a failry steep drop the other side too. On looking at the historical reviews it appears this has been an issue for OVER A YEAR. And appears to still not been resolved yet is still advertised as pool available. We would NOT have booked if we knew there was no key to access the pool, as this was a main reason we booked it. The complex appears to have residents also, and it was made clear to us by another resident we should have a key. Hence to shut the gate leaving my daughter inside. In my opinion this is falsely advertised and we would not have booked if we knew about this.

Great locstion

The location of the villa is ideal, just a 10min walk to the beach, shops and restaurants even closer. The only disappointing thing is there is no access to the pool, if you don’t expect it, you can’t be disappointed. The beach is really nice though. The villa itself is nice and spacious with a small outside balcony area, 3 good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The facilities are good too, including microwave, cooker, kettle, washing machine and utensils such as cutlery and mugs etc. All in all a really nice place, just think they need to stop advertising the pool until they get a key for it.

Tired in places and needs cleaning in some areas. Still good value for money. Would say it is 3-4 stars not 5.

Very dated property, not as advertised as still no pool key , sun loungers dirty mismatched chairs and rusty table outside, decking tha needs treating with a little mouse to entertain you. DVD works intermittently (dodgy scart lead ) matressses and quilts and covers need replacing … same ones as 2 years ago and they needed replacing then.. dishwasher broken wheels, washing machine leaves Marj’s on clothes , got locked in as handle sheared off. Whole place needs some money spent on it and updating . .

The property is clean and tidy although it is getting a little old and rough around the edges. The dishwasher has wheels missing and is rusty inside. The upstairs double bed is merely a camping bed and very uncomfortable. There are old tiles and bits of wood piled up in the entrance area. The main problem we had was that there wasn’t any key to gain access to the pool area which was one of the main reasons we booked the Villa so we’re very disappointed. The description for the Villa on Vrbo includes the use of the pool. Overall the Villa needs updating and access to the pool area…

No pool access which after asking owner before arrival he confirmed and offered me £26 refund and said there was another pool a 5 minute walk away , it was 15 minutes ! Apartment is tired and in need of some TLC. The decking on patio and entrance is disgusting lots of dirt and debris between slats which can not be accessed to clean . Peeling paint in bathrooms and on vanity units would not use them to put my toiletries in. Broken seat and foot stool held together by washing line in living room . 2 broken sun loungers . Miss matched patio furniture . Rusting dining table and chairs . Broken runner on rusty dishwasher. Michelle the property manager is extremely helpful and the apartment is clean but very tired . The view from balcony is lovely . With a little bit of money and care put into this apartment it could be amazing and the owner could charge a lot more .
