The hotel was fine, nothing special. Bathrooms were a little old and had some stains. They offered a free shuttle to the public transit to get to the stadium so that was nice. And the staff were very friendly. Location was good, not right in the downtown but very close to everything

The Bed frame was damaged and I sticking out 1 inch and the meatal scratched my right leg- `1 inch scratch. I am glad I am a nurse so I can watch for issue for tetanus and carry an emergency medical kit.. I messaged your company yesterday asking for a refund.

Wonderful facility. Great location for area hospitals and specialists offices. Shuttle service a great asset.

No toilet paper or shampoo. Breakfast poor. No coffee one morning. Room service took our towels and didn’t leave fresh ones. Expensive for such a run down place.

The only issue was the door to the restroom. It was hard to open and close. Other than that everything was excellent.

Clean room with larger bathroom near university of Pittsburgh. Free breakfast was good with different choices. Coffee needs an upgrade. Definitely stronger.

Dropping my son off for college. Good location and quality for a reasonable price. Comfortable room. Front desk staff was very kind and helpful, especially Pierre who when out of his way to help us print something we needed.

My room was not throughly cleaned before my stay. They wouldn’t discount my room. The water pressure was very low and the cold on my bathtube wouldn’t work, I can turn it from hot to cold but it wouldn’t get cold just stayed hot. Please someone contact me for a refund.

Very well situated for all of the universities surrounding it (Pitt/Carnegie Mellon)

The hotel is right next to Forbes Avenue which is a big plus. Old hotel has everything one need. One improvement could be that rooms, beds and baths can be more cleaner.

I stayed here because it was very close to my daughter school, but the showe gel bottle was empty, I asked for refill but they never came to refill it, the lightbulb was out by the door , maintenance never came to change it even after I told the front desk, overall, the hotel is ok , it’s a no frills hotel, it serves it’s purpose .

The exit/fire escape doors to the stairways need quiet closures. When you have a room next to this area, and people go in and out, the doors slam, rattle the walls and scare people sleeping. Otherwise, excellent facility.

We stayed here for 5 nights for our first trip to Pittsburgh. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and our floor was quiet. The desk staff was friendly and helpful when we needed extra pillows and tissues for the room. In all, we enjoyed our stay. But there were some disappointments... There were only 2 hooks in the bathroom, which made towel hanging less than optimal. There was another bar to hang smaller towels near the sink, but that was not useful for the shower towels. There was plenty of wall space for additional hooks, so I hope the space will be utilized in the future to make the bathroom more efficient. Also, the shower head needs attention. The base ring was loose on the wall and the dial on the shower head to change settings did not work, so we were stuck with one setting the entire time. Also, communication between the staff left a little to be desired. In 5 days, housekeeping only came once, and that was after we had to ask the front desk twice for them to come tidy up and freshen our towels. We even had to empty our own garbages and leave them in the hall outside our room. I understand there were some staffing issues, as some people called out Saturday morning, so folks from other departments were helping out for breakfast service. They all did what they could to make the experience pleasant, so I am giving the property the benefit of the doubt that our issues with housekeeping were potentially related to staffing deficiencies.

Housekeeping they didn’t clean my room not one day that I was there . I came on on a Thursday and left on a Sunday.

This is a great location and close to our daughter when visiting her at Pitt.

Check-in was smooth and easy . Stay was comfortable. Only thing we did not like was the pillows, they were too soft.

Staff not attentive. No water, tea coffee, hot chocolate. Staff on personal phone not willing to assist with questions or needs.

We usually stay at this hotel when we come into town to visit our daughter, who goes to college. We like the convenience to our daughters college and the ease of checking into the hotel.

Great customer service and attention to detail.

No shampoo in shower and no coffee in the morning. And $25 for parking? Really?

Staff was friendly and accomodating, just wish the hitel had a dining room and or bar.

The organization of the hotel left something to be desire. The staff always seemed flustered and disorganized. The complementary water and coffee were almost always missing a component. The fitness center’s water machine was broken and there was not water to purchase. I was also surprised that guests aren’t eligible for turn down service until the 2nd night per Hampton Inn policy. I haven’t experienced this before and have no doubt it was in our confirmation messages and missed it but I thought it odd.

A little dirty outside

The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, free breakfast had quite a few options, and it was located conveniently for us. However, one of the reasons we booked this property was because it offered a shuttle service to University of Pitt. The day we arrived, there’s a sign saying “no shuttle tomorrow”, so we ended up walking the 15 minutes to campus. The only other complaint was the parking lot spots were very tight to maneuver with our Toyota Tacoma extended cab.

An average hotel, just stayed for 1 night, not too much to say. Breakfast is simple, but OK. The mattresses are too soft. The free shuttle service only runs to 2:15PM.

Friendly staff and service. The rooms were clean. We waited 30 minutes in the am for the staff to provide hot food for the breakfast buffet. Nothing was stocked. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Staff is great. My room had 4 decaf coffees which was a bummer

Overall the hotel was very clean, easy to access, parking was easy, the staff was incredible and the location (going to PNC Park) was great for my trip. However, the beds were probably on the worst end for comfort for a Hampton Inn. They weren't incredibly bad compared to most hotels but not the typical comfort I get from a Hampton Inn. They definitely could use newer bedding IMO.

I stayed there for four nights, and the room service was not done even once. There is no bin for recycling.

The outlet plugs in the room need to be updated. Paying 25$ a night for parking is just wrong
