Terrible rooms.. nothing works - phone,shower, lift .. no shower curtains a d such tiny room no place for bags

This is by far one of the best places to stay in CDMX. It’s so beautiful and classic and has all that history to it. It also has all the facilities to make your stay so comfortable and safe. The staff is so amazing, so helpful, so welcoming. Thank You Geneve.. we will definitely be back!! Love you guys

Truly relished in the luxury, history and services offered at Hotel Geneve CDMX, Zona Rosa. Ariel Mendoza, Concierge, and assistant left nary a stone unturned when it came to recommending the best of CDMX from galleries; museums; restaurants; luxury shopping.

We arrived early at 11 am, we asked for early check in, it was not available, so we went to get lunch and arrived back at the hotel at 2:45 pm the room still not ready, 3 pm comes only one room is ready and will deliver the keys to the first room when the room is ready, 5 pm no one deliver the keys, went to the front the key was there, no apologies just handed me the keys. Just bad service and old hotel, i would never stay here again

The hotel is definitely a historical landmark in itself. You can get a glimpse of an era gone by. The place has seen better days but now the ravages of time can be seen. It was our first day in the country so a little bit of new country daze might also have colored my judgment. The rooms are large but not sound proof, the shower had good water pressure but splashed around the bathroom. The staff was couteous, the neighborhood felt safe to walk at night to us. There are enough places to visit at walking distance and great numbers of good restaurants to choose from.

The hotel itself has a very pretty lobby, bar, and dining areas. Check-in/out was easy and quick. Any staff member we came in to contact with was nice and helpful. The room it self was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Please be aware that this hotel is very old, which just means it could do with some updates, but we had no complaints. Area can’t be beat, lots of restaurants and shopping near by. We would stay here again!

Place is great. The entire vintage/historic blast to the past is awesome. Staff is polite, nice and friendly.
My visit would been 10/10 if the elevator was working. It was down during our stay. Hauling luggage was ruff up/down the stairs.

At first we got a very ugly room that was nothing like the pictures of the hotel. We mentioned it to the bell boy who came back a few minutes later to show us another room on the same floor where we moved for our stay. It is a cool place with history, the service is good, the restaurants are convenient. However, I would stay this is a 3 stars. I booked thinking I had a great deal on a superb hotel but it was just a fair price for a clean hotel in this location. I had a nice stay but I would go back only if I can’t find better for the price.

Remarkable Hotel with amazing history and charm . If you like antiques, tall shelves full of old books and a quiet dark bar decorated in 100 year old phones, then this is your place .in the Historic district and short walk to many great bars and restaurants

The property is in a great location, loads of eating options nearby and Uber eats delivers easily. The property is clean, staff is very friendly.
Since it is a heritage hotel the lobby is narrow and pretty dark. The room I was offered is very small but good for a solo traveler. The bathroom door was small and the main door was not opening correctly, the coffee machine was given but there was no plug to connect it.
I was never able to drink any coffee ever. There was just one plug connection in my room and I had to use the bathroom plug to charge my other devices.
Overall I think the room needs loads of upgrades.

Housekeeping is poor. The carpet in our room had a smell to it and it seemed like it didn’t get vacuumed the whole 7 days we were there. The breakfast that was included was the same everyday.

Beautiful hotel with so much character and history! There are a lot of Instagrammable areas. Great price for the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed dining at both outlets; the food and drinks were good. I never got the VIP amenity that I should have according to Expedia, but it wasn't a big deal—might be a system glitch. I still tipped well because of the daily housekeeping I received. I got a nice corner room with a street view, but it came with loud noises at night. It is Pride weekend, after all, and I’m happy to be part of it!

I love Hotel Geneve! I’ve stayed here on three separate trips to CDMX and I am always so happy with its value proposition. It is well kept and the staff are kind and helpful.
That said, the neighborhood itself is busy with nightlife, and if you want a quiet room you should make sure to ask for that. The front side is noisier than the back.
This is the first time that I booked Hotel Geneve through Expedia and that went well, too.
