A fair walk through a busy pub section, but noticed on the morning we could use the underground and avoid the area

Everything was walking distance! If not there are two different trains near the hotel!

Is a good hotel for work...

Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Pool is not family friendly. Suites are remodeled apartments in adjacent building.

Elevator not working in annex building. Had to climb the stairs with luggage to 3rd floor. Poor WiFi connection. Breakfast is nice.

Garbage service and room, TV did not work, room keys would not work

Hotel was within walking distance to most places. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Room temperature was warm but cooled down with air conditioning and opening window. Window had no child lock and opened very wide quite dangerous from the 4th floor. Shower was very nice, hot water and complimentary toiletries. TV mainly all German channels. WiFi quite intermittent Only a coffee machine in room but was provided a kettle as my fiancé only drinks tea. Lift out of order but was offered a lower ground floor room which was nice of them. I managed to make it up the stairs finally!! Staff very attentive and the food was very nice in the restaurant. Would stay there again.

The hotel was really well located for what we needed, it was clean and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was also really nice.

It was a good hotel with a pleasant staff and very good rooms.The only thing what was missing ,some information about the lockers who where not placed in the rooms but on another location.

This property is too far away from bars and restaurants, especially in the winter when long walks in the rain are not pleasant. The bar closes at 11pm and no bar or restaurant on a Sunday. The staff are friendly but never told us of a rail strike as they book us a taxi to the train station! House keeping walked into our room and started routing in the wardrobe looking for the ‘do not service our room’ sign even thought I had opened the door ten minutes earlier and exchanged towels with another member of their team and said no housekeeping today please. She could see we were still in bed but didn’t care. She wanted that sign! On a positive, the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds we ever slept in, just don’t look at the duvets under the covers.

Stayed 3 nights, easy check in but rooms not ready till 3pm, cam back for my bag a lot later on. No fridge, no safe and no wifi, without these I would only rate it a 3 star. Very comfy and very clean. 15 mins to the Dom or main station. Quite peaceful location too and I definitely recommend it.

Good area, quiet. Put into an annex across the road - should be made aware of this before booking. Air conditioning poor, took whole day to cool room down. Male receptionist in mornings was very helpful and friendly, unfortunately same can't be said of the female receptionist we encountered in the evenings, uninterested and unfriendly. Pool/gym needs to be better signposted and explained. Paid €20 each for breakfast - not the best value for money but adequate.

Excellent, staff were extremely brilliant and helpful.

Sadly the AC did not work even though it was a warm week. Also a lot of lights did not work and the toilet did not make the best impression to us.

I actually liked all the staff but I was a bit upset at check out when they tried to make me pay the city tax again. I’d already paid with a different person in cash on check in but this person seems not to have recorded the fact and I had no receipt. It was very embarrassing to have a row with the other receptionist with a large queue of people behind me. I stay in many different hotels in Germany, often in Köln. This is the first time this has happened and to be honest I was made to feel like I was lying. My 9 year old son was next to me and I really don’t need to be undermined in front of him. All staff, including the receptionist I was arguing were nice but I probably won’t stay there again, it’s put me off.

Nice hotel. 20 min walk to centre or s couple of stops on yhe underground. Aircon in room not good enough to cool room in hot weather. Could open windows but then get infested by bugs

Great value for money property. Clean, in a nice neighbourhood and close to parks, dining options and walkable (20 mins) to the city center. The family room was spacious enough for 2 adults and small kids. Parking available in the hotel for EUR20 per night our there is usually parking on the street for EUR 5 per day. The pool is big enough but could be a bit warmer and lesser chlorine. Overall a very pleasant stay and recommended.

Well placed to get to the city. Restrictions on bar and restaurant due to covid which spoils the stay and makes making the most of the bar problematic. They dont do double beds, 2 singles pushed together with single duvets which for us isnt what we like at all. Parking is not free and is expensive at 20 euro a night. If you can park out on the streets nearby, the area seemed secure and safe. Other than that nice clean and quiet hotel which is hard to criticise just let down for us with relatively simple things. The staff were very helpful and even printed out our covid paperwork etc for. Masks and proof of double vaccination or negative test is a must on arrival and around the city even to access some shops etc.

We had to call twice to request and iron, and it still didn't come in time to use it before our meeting. Had to go with a wrinkled shirt. And not an eco-friendly thing in sight. They did have a shampoo dispenser in the shower, but also had little individual products - what a waste of plastic packaging. And everything else was disposable and single use. Not recommended from that point of view.

Let my mobile phone in my room,tracked it after check out,3 hours later it left the hotel!!,they had tried to find it but apparently couldn’t Breakfast cold

The only problem we had was there wasn't much parking. And we had to park in a nearby garage and pay 20€
