I arrived in the evening and the night reception was not very welcoming, HOWEVER, the morning person was incredibly helpful, attentive and friendly.

We have stayed here as part of our ski trip for the last two years. It is great budget accommodation with easy access to the bus and train stations. Does the job - would recommend it to anyone staying the night before or after travelling up to the mountains.

Stayed one night in a studio after arriving in Grenoble by train. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the station and close to attractions, trams, buses. The room was a little small. If we stayed longer we would have selected a larger room. The stay was comfortable.

Opposite the train station, excellent location for early travellers. A ten minute walk from the city center. Room are modern and clean, including a small kitchen. People at the reception are very kind.

This is a no frills low budget hotel right across the street from the train station.
It is clean and the staff is nice and speaks English well enough.
Included in the room price is a nice European breakfast, and the location makes it easy to walk to the old village. It is easy to get to other areas via the Gare tram stop.
Several higher end hotels nearby seem to still be closed due to reduced COVID travel, so this is a reasonable alternative.

It was a pleasant stay, I will use the hotel again when ever I visit

I had a comfortable 1 night stay there, quiet enough to sleep on a Friday night with the windows open. Basic room with necessities like a kettle and a stove. Only feedback was that the shower was not working well - the shower head kept sliding down presumably due to a lack of grip. Otherwise, can't beat the location and price.

Booked 18dec-19Dec single room and reached out to hotel via Expedia to inform that I will be arriving on 19Dec 5am from Barcelona , needed some rest before my next bus at 2pm . Requested for late check out at 2pm if possible but was declined , requested again upon check in and was told to check with next shift during check out time at 11am but that would defeat the purpose of catching up with some sleep from an overnight 8hrs long bus journey . Would really appreciate this property to practise more flexibility and perhaps more empathy towards the guest’s needs . I paid for a full night but ended up checking in at 6am , surely a late check out request of 3hrs isn’t too much to ask for . Also , the hot water was out after 10 minutes of shower so I had to endure a cold shower at 6am which is an added bummer to my experience . Location wise , it’s perfect for those arriving by train or bus as its literally across the street . Room is very spacious with basic apartment amenities just needed for a short stay .

Room was clean and functional and great value. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The place is not fancy not functional like a dormitory setting but the studio was large enough and comfortable. We had room third floor looking right out on the train station.

I stayed 2 days, and the first morning I discover that the warm water was not working. At the end of the day nothing was fixed and I asked for another room. I would have expected the hotel to be more proactive and propose me another room.
The hotel is located in front of the Grenoble train station, it is clean, but very basic. It has a little kitchen corner, with as far as I could everything you need to cook a dish.

This property was a wonderful place to stay as I explored the city. The front desk staff were kind and spoke very good English, and my room had a lovely view of the mountains. The hotel location is very convenient either to the train station to access other cities or the tramway to explore the city more fully, but I found enough to enjoy within walking distance. The washer and dryer in the hotel basement worked fine as well.

One of the worst hotel experience of my life. Bad smells, lack of cleaning and bad noises just outside the window. They do not tell that you have to book the parking inside the hotel, so you have to pay the parking at the outside. Room was big.

We saw a specific balcony on the hotels.com advert and secretlt woshed for this room... luckily, we got it! The view was amazing and the lay out of the room was quirky.
U fortunately there was cigarette stumps on the balciny floor, the patio furniture was fault and much of the building meeded freshening up.

Likes: Decent space, not too big not to small. Kitchen made it easy to cook since most restaurants were closed due to pendemic. Right next to train station.
Dislikes: Out of the 7 nights we were there, NOT ONE PERSON came to clean the room. We asked the front desk the 3rd day to see why no one has cleaned our room and they said they were going to clean it the next day...no one ever came......my wife and i were very disappointed with the cleaning service. We kept asking for more toilet paper and for more towels throughout our stay since no one cared for our room. We let them know on the last day, they were sorry of course. But hopefully it encouraged them to not let it happen to anyone else.

Hotel doesn't look much from the outside but fine, clean and spacious inside. Just outside the train station and 15 minutes walk into town centre. Room very comfortable and clean with efficient A/C - ideal in 36 degree heat when I was there. Could improve the coffee at breakfast. Wi-fi dropped at peak times.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations as it was such a reasonable price for what we got. We needed to be close to the station and these areas are often the worst for hotels. However, we had a very functional, comfy and clean room with a nice en suite and a small kitchen area which meant we didnt have to eat out all the time. Although the building is old our accommodation was very good.

The staff was very helpful and the location is perfect. However the service apartments could use some work. I was in room 210. The heating was not working, the toilet seat was broken, the bed side lamp was flickering. There was no mention at the time of booking that these are service apartments and thr name residhotel was misleading suggesting its a hotel.

Only first day problem with bath room water heater， But luckily, there are same size room available for me to change! Everything is fine then. WiFi speed is adequate for normal web browsing and e-mail. Cooking ware is enough but need to buy salt, sugar and oil.Breakfast is typical simple French style.

I checked in on a Friday afternoon. The front desk girl spoke pretty good English and was helpful in answering my initial questions about the city and room as well as later follow up questions. She was generally very pleasant to interact with so I would rate the staff highly at this hotel. The other staff members were also OK and spoke enough English (better than my French)
The room was clean with somewhat new looking furniture. Bathroom also seemed relatively new and was clean also. Location is across the street from the train station which is great for convenience because that also is right near the end of the main street so you can walk or take the metro to most places easily.
Overall it is a good hotel for the price.

The hotel is opposite the train & bus station so very easy to find. The hotel is basic but perfect for a weekend break where you are out & about exploring. Our room was on the 5th floor it was a decent size, clean & fresh, with a comfortable bed. We also had stunning views from our room. The room also contained a mini kitchen area so perfect for those on a budget. I would happily recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again.
