This was the first place we visited in Italy in our lives. We were treated so well, great neighborhood, sweet balcony. We will go back there on our next visit.

Cannot fault Stupor Mundi B&B. Everything was just wonderful. Fredrica and the team couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spotless and attention to detail was second to none. Location is perfect. My partner and I will definitely be returning in the future.

What a fantastic bnb! Excellent location and comfy rooms. Federica prepared a delicious breakfast each morning, with individual touches each day. When we arrived she took the time to draw on a map to show us where things are and give us her recommendations. What a great host, we would love to come back.

The B and B itself was clean and the room was fine for our needs. Just know if you stay here it will be a small quaint experience. There were good and bad things about that. The good- the employees were nice and cooked a great made to order breakfast, top notch. The bad- they were not as willing to make reservations for dinners and they did not run a front desk for last minute questions or help. The worst offense was their inability to accurately book a taxi for our 5:00 AM departure. We were waiting at the curb at 5:00 and our taxi didn't show. My husband had to turn on his cell service (which we purposely didn't do for the trip, causing us an extra charge) to call the 24 hr number only to find out the B and B didn't confirm the taxi. If you are fine with an experience basically like Air B and B then this is for you. If you book an actual B and B for the help then look elsewhere. They cannot be trusted to follow through on their commitments. Also the street was loud and they acknowledge that by giving you ear plugs.

The property's location is ideal very close to the bus and central station. Danilo the owner was very helpful and have us tips where to go and things to do in palermo.

We enjoyed our stay at Stupor Mundi. The hotel is situated nearby bars and restaurants as well as shopping. The staff is very welcoming. They gave us great tips for our stay in Palermo and throughout Sicily. The room is comfortable and spacious, a bit noisy, but considering were downtown Palermo, I guess its expected! They even provide earplugs for our convenience! The prices are very reasonable, and you get a fantastic breakfast to boost! Highly recommended!

We had taken a great “foodie” tour and had three nights in Palermo before we headed home. This was an excellent choice. The room was nicely furnished, and had a balcony with a little table and a couple of chairs that made a nice place to sip an afternoon wine while resting from the day. We were concerned about the possible street noise but with the windows closed and the curtains drawn, you won’t hear a thing! It’s an easy walk to most of the important sites, and to restaurants and cafés and gelaterias. Breakfast was nice, with fruit attractively presented (one day, like a boat of pineapple, another a bird from an apple). Danilo sat with us and patiently explained where the important sites were and marked on a map, and on our last morning, got up early enough to pick us up at 4:30 am for a ride to the airport. The location is not staffed except in the morning, so note that if that will be a problem for you. We had no problem with checking in (keybox) and in and out access. Danilo is easily available by phone.

Lovely clean rooms at this fabulous third floor B&B in the busy Via Mariano Stabile. Fresh towels come folded as animals... origami style !! Breakfast is a treat with coffee, juices, almond milk, sculpted fruit and sweet Sicilian delicacies. The Staff are so attentive and helpful I cannot praise them highly enough. Their suggestions for sights, food, bus routes were all fantastic ! We managed three trips to the two big local concert halls, including opera at the Massimo We will CERTAINLY return ... when Palermo FC are playing a home game !!

This B&B is perfectly located to visit the historical center of Palermo. The staff was attentive and discreet and gave us many helpful suggestions to make the most of our visit. The room "Maiolica" was very spacious. We highly recommend this B&B!
