sehr freundliches Personal; gutes Essen im Restaurant; sehr gute, zentrale Lage in Bahnhofnähe, gute Parkmöglichkeiten für den PKW
eher unterdurchschnittliches Frühstücksbuffet; schlechte Zimmerreinigung; abgenutzte Teppichböden in Fluren und Zimmer; ganz schlimm: deutlicher Schimmel an der Baddecke; die Toilette hatte gelbbraune Streifen von irgendwelchen Flüssigkeiten

Everything is awesome (the breakfast, friendly staffs, supreme location, clean and quiet room)
Only the walk from the station to the hotel might seems challenging for people travel with elders or children or larger luggage. Other than this, everything works great.

Excellent property.. cozy, comfortable; felt at home.
Great area with plenty board games where my kids enjoyed playing at balcony after dinner.
Morning times, enjoying hot drink with amazing mountain view.
All the rooms are warm and sound proof.
Staff working at restaurant is amazing, they make us an unforgettable stay, during breakfast and dinner.
The owner guide us for our 1st trip at Grindelwald, guide us plenty information to move us around.
One more thing; at Alpine Hotel, they still providing a Bible and a book with ideas, tips for heart and soul.
I can’t complain… it is a place where I definitely will return without doubt.
I will not search for another place in the area.

Very big thank you to the Lady boss willing to help us carry our 2 baggage when there has Construction work in front of the hotel during our stay. very nice and friendly hotel owner. great location near Grindelwald Train Station. Room view was fantastic has mountain view.

I loved my stay here. Despite the central location (2 min walk to railway station or central village street), it was quiet. The views were amazing, the staff great and friendly and the breakfast was wonderful (with views). I would return.

The staff was pleasant and very helpful. They serve delicious dinner. The location is just a short few minutes walk from the Grindelwald station, good location to set as base. Some 10 minutes walk you can find a supermarket, souvenir stores and many restaurants to eat in. The walk to the gondola to First and Pfingstegg are all easily accessible too. Cozy place to stay in and nice balcony.
I didn't like the bed linen, I could find strands of hair on it. The walls were stained too, not very clean.
The shower was painful on the skin, could be the pressure of how the water is released from the waterhead. But it's not adjustable.

Clean facility, spacious room with balcony with table and chairs to eat and enjoy the view, less than 5 minute walk from the train station, comfortable fed, warm/good heating and hot shower (I visited in early March), very friendly and informative staff
I am petit so wasn’t an issue for me but some people might feel the shower is too small/narrow, no fridge to store food

The location is like 2 minutes away from train station, in the central of Grindelwald, where everything is around you. The staff, in particular Ms. Saska, was really helpful and privided me with alot of information about the village and how to get around it. The breakfast was really great as well.

The staffs are very friendly and the location is excellent. The room is good in size and the bed is really comfortable. The pillows are a bit too soft for us, but after talking to the staffs, we got new, harder & more comfortable pillows immediately. Also, the restaurant is great! We ate almost every dinner at the restaurant, the price value is outstanding compared to all the other restaurants along the main street. We will go to this hotel again when we go ski in Grindelwald next winter!

The view of the Eiger was stunning. We couldnt have asked for a better view.
Fantastic location for the train station.
Breakfast was very good. Great coffee!
We would love to come again in the summer.
Unfortunately because we came in November the restaurant and bar was closed during the day and evening.
We do understand that facilities can be closed during this month but it might have been helpful to know this upon booking.

Fantastic hotel, really enjoyed my stay. Located very near the final stop of the train from Interlaken Ost I was delighted it was so close after a long days travel. Beds were incredibly comfy and welcomed after a long days hiking. Rooms are also very well sound insulated. My room had a balcony with a spectacular view of the mountains that was honestly breath taking. Breakfast was nice and tasty.
A little expensive for a solo traveler but the hotel was worth it in the end I feel. Wish I could have stayed longer. Very little wrong with this hotel.

Good location (near the bus / train station, town centre), mountain view. The hotel is simple, but cosy, has a nice room display. Super friendly staff. The room had a water cattle, very nice, if you want to drink some tea in your balcony with a mountain view.
Breakfast could have had a bit more options (missed scrambled eggs and bacon). The restaurant terrace and the small garden needs some investment of time and money, because with that view it could look amazing, and now it’s just shabby.
