Good breakfast.

Unfortunately I have a medical condition and so cannot eat food cooked for me by others. I bought my own food and asked for a fork. I was told I could not have a fork and that I could not take my food to my room. This was explained in the nicest way but as a consequence my only option was to go and eat in the car. It was suggested that anything could have been cooked to suit my dietary needs. Breakfast came with pepper on which I cannot have. Some understanding needs to be shown that when I say I cannot have others cooking for me, Its not then for negotiation. Kind owners with no flexibility. I won't be returning.

Staff are lovely and check in was very easy. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and didn’t get the “how’s everything “ comment that you seem to get everywhere nowadays. Can’t thank you enough for that alone, if something wasn’t right I’d say.

Shower didn’t drain so had to cut it short, and the bathroom floor creaked like a horror movie at 3.30 this morning. Didn’t bother me, but I’m sure it must have bothered my neighbours 🤣

Location was perfect for Crufts attendance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also very accommodating for dogs staying too. There is a dog friendly restaurant and there are green areas in close proximity for walking and toilet breaks. Thank you for accommodating our and our pups needs.

I didn’t find the bed very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is just awful.

The standard of facilities and cleanliness was far above what I expected at the price

The bathroom extract fans were noisy with a very long overrun. Service at breakfast was slow.

Breakfast was amazing, very tasty and friendly staff. The location was an hour away from my house which wasn’t a problem as I was travelling for a wedding. The only problem I had is that the sat nav tells you are there, but you have to go further along and it is tucked away and only sign posted next to the entrance, I drove past it and had to go back down the dual carriage way and turn back round. The hotel is very nice and lit up at night it looks beautiful. The bed was so comfy! I would love one of those mattresses! Very nice room and had everything I needed apart from milk pots to go with the teabags in the room. I was upgraded to a double room due to being with a wedding party. I really appreciated that. Thank you!

There was a towel placed at the bottom of the radiator in the bathroom, that appeared to be leaking but didn’t affect my stay. The heating could have been put on as it was quite chilli when I got back to the room. I would have liked some milk sashes to make a cup of tea, but didn’t bother me to much as I had breakfast included.

The room was well equipped with a very comfy bed. Dinner was exceptional and the restaurant stunning! The staff, although quite young were very well trained and exceptionally efficient with lovely manners..

The only thing was the music played near the communal area/lobby..a little too funky at times, but that might just be down to taste (ie my age 😘!)
