The room was beautiful and the hotel was historic. Breakfast was excellent and having privacy was ideal. Staff were friendly and accomodating. We did have dinner and although it was good i think it was over priced.

The hotel was just what we expected from the pictures provided. The room was clean and we had plenty of room, which is needed when traveling with a young one. The reason I didn't give a better rating for our overall stay was because the beds were VERY firm. I was so sore the next day, my husband was slightly sore and my son didn't seem to be effected in any way. My son slept on a roll-away bed so his mattress may have been different from mine and my husbands. The hotel location was great if you want to go down by the water... we didn't get to go as it was raining, cold and late. Breakfast was okay, a selection of eggs, meat, cheese, breads.

The hotel was great and the staff very kind and helpful. The trundle (cot) was unfortunately very uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you don't need the extra bed.

Great combination of a family owned and operated hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is well known for its quality and gourmet chef. We were here to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. Beautiful old town, hotel is a 5 minute walk from the boat landing where you can board a boat to cruise the lake.

Went to Switzerland on the spur of the moment. We booked this hotel at the last minute and it has been our favorite hotel these last ten days of traveling Europe.

This was very surprising for the best rated restaurant in town. This was the worst stay of our 13 day European trip.

We stayed one night on our way to the Zeppelin Museum across the lake and on to the Black Forest. The hotel is classic Swiss! No frills, but every amenity covered. Very comfortable beds! Good shower! Absolutely fabulous food! It wasnt cheap, but was worth every penny (or franc). Arbon is a nice little town and we were past the tourist season so it was quiet.

We were warmly greeted by the owners on our arrival and shown to our room. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and the meal was delicious. The Malaysian curry was to die for!!

We stumbled upon the Römerhof and were absolutely thrilled. The room was simple, beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed, and breakfast was exceptional. We also loved the neighborhood and strolling along the lake in the morning.

Most enjoyable stay in this historic place. Very attentive staff made us truly welcome. Great breakfast buffet. Too bad we did not try the restaurant, due to all the commitments we had in the area. We shall certainly be back.

An overnight stay when we needed somewhere near Sankt Gallen / the Bodensee ferry. We looked for somewhere reasonable without thinking too much but were delighted by this hotel. Beautiful newly refurbed room, great touches like high quality herbal teas in the room, and an outstanding dinner. If you're in the area I would
choose this hotel in a flash -- flawless.

We stumbled on Arbon while vacationing and it is a very charming town however not set up well for tourist. The hotel is a very nice remodeled very old building and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful and the dinning in the hotel was exceptional but pricey.

Only stayed 1 night. Rooms were lovely, staff pleasant and wish we could have stayed longer! Ate out at a nearby very good Italian so only had breakfast at the hotel which was lovely. We would stay here again.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. The building is historic, centrally located and quiet. It is staffed with the most friendly and knowledgeable group of people I have ever met. Parking is convenient, and the building is secured at night. The food is professionally prepared and excellent. The comforts are great, the internet is fast and NOTHING on the property smells of cigarettes. A+

The service from the team at Romerhof was consistently excellent. The meal we had in the restaurant was memorable. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely yay here again.

Delightful hotel next to old town and shopping, 10 minute walk from train station and lakeside park Dates back to 1300's, but fully modern interior and scrupulously maintained. Ample parking, but no elevator. Good internet and breakfast included.

Arbon was just a chance stop over on a long driving trip round the alps but we struck lucky with Romerhof . Owner chef, Gerald and his staff were most welcoming and charming. The room was pleasantly in keeping with the age and style of the Inn but with a modern twist and the bathroom was clean and well appointed. The high spot was the dinner. We decided to splurge and had the7 course asparagus tasting menu. I don't know how this restaurant has escaped a Michelin star up to now but it certainly deserves one. The meal included asparagus soup with grilled scallop, a delightful risotto, Wagu beef with Aberdeen Angus tournedos and a sublime lime Pannacotta. An experience not to be missed.
