The rustic mountain environment but close enough to hit the town. The views were amazing, even through the rain clouds. The cabin was perfect! Did not want for anything... fireplace, blankets, outdoor and indoor comfort, a fully stocked kitchen! Even the beds were comfy - better than your average hotel. Obviously a well water system so bring bottled water to drink but it was great for showers. Our stay in early November gave mild temps and driving conditions - even with rain, the road up and the driveway up to the cabin were easy to navigate and provided ample traction. A turnaround area made it easy to change direction at the parking spots for the cabin. Would highly recommend!

A great place. We stayed with two families of 4. Great size for that. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and open plan inside for getting together

We showed up just to have a place to stay for the weekend while we went to the App St. football game. We ended up staying at the house for a lot more time than we thought. The place was awesome, had plenty of space, and was in a great location. We hope to make another trip to this house in the winter

As long-time visitors with VCLCR we had another wonderful weekend visit. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and perfect for our group. We have never had anything but exceptional visits to one of our favorite places on the planet. Thanks to the staff, and to the owners of this beautiful home.

Cabin had lots of room for the family. Very nice back porch. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning and fireplace

Nice cabin. Very heavily wooded so no view, but quiet. All furniture, toilets sit very low to ground so not idea for older patrons. Clean, well stocked with essentials.

My family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. It is conveniently located to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk, but secluded enough to provide a peaceful getaway. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed with everything you may possibly need. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this rental company. Very attentive and easy check in check out process.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin! The location is perfect! A beautiful setting in the woods and yet close enough to everything! We really enjoyed the fire pit and sitting outside on the deck looking at the wildlife. We would highly recommend this cabin and will hopefully return sometime soon!

Our experience was great. Beautiful cabin, great location, good communication with office. Couldn’t be better. Feedback about things the cabin need.- : for safety I would have liked to know there was a gas heater in upstairs room on (in pilot mode).More board games please.A hair dryer would it be fantastic.An electric boiling water is needed in the kitchen.I couldn’t find the blades for the blender (cake mixer blender)More kitchen towels.Thank you for the amazing time we had.

I was moved to this cabin due to a water heater problem in my original cabin. We were very impressed by the comfortable layout, amenities available, location and cleanliness. Valle Crucis staff takes very good care of the property, making the whole experience very nice.
