Super emplacement face au jardin botanique et à proximité de tout. Lits confortables, chambre propre et bien insonorisée. C’était parfait.

The property is located across from a beautiful park and only a couple of city blocks from the city center with all its restaurants, shops, and the city tour tram line. Of course there were museums and much more all within reach. The beds were comfy and the room was spacious too. Super clean rating: A+.

Easy to find, great location and very nice room, handy lift and great staff, easy walk into town

We immediately liked Hotel Give. There was a really nice vibe, spacious reception area with bar and the room was excellent. If required, there was a shared kitchen and laundry facilities. The hotel is in a great location, directly opposite the botanic gardens and only a 5-10 minute walk from a number of restaurants.

Very comfortable, nice bathroom and a great location

I didnt realise I had booked a shared bathroom but the staff were able to move me to a self contained room for a fee which was nice. I also had to move after first night into another room which was ok except the tv didnt work. The lift was small and slow at busy times.

Great location, very clean, very comfortable modern and pleasant. Friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend.

De hotel inrichting. Goed nagedacht over wat comfortabel is voor Backpackers. Stopcontacten als je boven in het stapelbed slaapt en een ruime kluis om je spullen op te bergen!

The location is great. Next to Hagley Park and a short walk to the city centre. The socially responsible idea is also very compelling.

NOISY! Because there is no air conditioning or even a fan in the rooms (note to self: read the fine print), the only ventilation is through two smallish windows that open - which is a big plus over many hotels that do not have windows that open. However, there is almost constant noise from people talking on the street and vehicle traffic including buses and commercial vehicles, so if it is warm in the room - which it was for us during summer - you have to choose between having it be somewhat quiet or sweating. But the worst part is that there was some type of construction nearby and extremely loud power tools were being used. This went on until 10pm, which is bad enough, but then started up again at 1:00am (!?!?!) presumably until someone called the cops and it eventually stopped after an hour or so. Also, minor issue was that one of the beds had dried blood on the top sheet right at the head of the bed (it did appear to have been laundered). Hotel should take that sheet out of circulation or at least put the stained part at the foot of the bed.

Fijne kamer op een prima locatie. Het bed lag heerlijk. De gemeenschappelijke badkamer is netjes, wordt goed schoongehouden en ruim.

Dat de keuken om 22:00 gesloten is. Dus na 22 uur kon ik niet meer bij mijn eigen spullen. Of iets van thee of koffie maken. Terwijl ze tegen betaling thee/koffie aanbieden in de lobby

Great location, in a renovated YMCA building and opposite Hagley Park. 5 mins walk from city centre.

Only 2 sockets in the room- could do with several more.

Parking was very ackward as there was only paid street parking Where we were told was free parking was resident only and needed resident disc. Also you had to use toilet on lobby not in your room

綺麗なボタニックガーデンに近く徒歩で市内中心部を回るのにも最高の立地です。 共用のバスルームは清潔で、数が多かったので待つことはありませんでした。部屋では暖房を使用できました。 便利でサステナブルなため、また利用したいです。

ロビーにある自販機の使い方が難しかったです。戸惑っている方を何人か見かけたので、横に簡単な説明書きがあればありがたいなと思いました。

I liked the location, friendly staff, lovely bathroom and beds. I really liked the view of the park as well as it was a beautiful intro to Christchurch. The staff were also incredible, I have never known such kind hotel staff.

I did not like how the housekeeping would only wash the towels and occasionally make the bed but did not properly clean the sheets (as there were marks/stains) and would avoid topping up body wash and shampoo/conditioner even when asked.
