I recently stayed at Arrowhead Cabin in McCall, and while the cabin itself was nice, several issues negatively impacted our experience:
Cleanliness Concerns:
- Upon arrival, we found a razor and a tobacco can on the floor in the master bedroom, and an old Trader Joe's lotion in the bunk bedroom. This indicates the cleaning was not thorough before our stay.
- The towels listed on the welcome page were left in the dryer, and we had to finish the laundry ourselves before using the community pool.
Disputed Charges:
- We were charged an extra $100 for a deep cleaning fee. However, the cabin was not clean upon our arrival.
- We were also accused of damaging the flooring and having a dog in the cabin, neither of which are true. The flooring issue was already present upon our arrival, and this is visible in the photos on the VRBO listing. Additionally, we asked the owners to check the security cameras to prove we did not have a dog, but we received no response.
Misleading Listing Information:
- The listing photos show a garage attached to the cabin, leading us to believe we could use it to secure our mountain bikes. However, upon arrival, we found the garage was not accessible to guests
Recommendations for Future Guests:
-Before unpacking, be sure to document and take photos of any questionable areas or existing damage in the cabin to avoid being wrongly accused.
-While McCall is a lovely town, we recommend carefully considering this particular cabin before booking.

The Arrowhead Cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend in the snow for our family of four. The location was great, and communication with Gail and Mike was seamless. We were able to explore McCall, snowmobile out to Burgdorf Hot Springs, and then come back to a cozy, clean, and very well-equipped cabin. Soaking in the hot tub with the snow coming down all around us was another highlight. Thanks for a fantastic experience that we’ll remember for a long time.

We so enjoyed the Arrrowhead Cabin for our annual family vacation. It is a great location just a few minutes from the state park and also to downtown. We were very happy with the accommodations and plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Arrowhead cabin. This cabin is centrally located in McCall. We brought two boats and had plenty of room in driveway to keep them. The lake is only a mile away from the launch ramp so it was great and convenient. The cabin was spotless clean when we arrive and was so nice. Beds were comfortable and fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed sitting outside at night and even had a deer walk right up the driveway. We used the community pool with my grandkids and they really enjoyed that and the hot tub. The neighbor hood is very nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Very well
Maintained and the owners were very easy to communicate to. Thanks so much for a wonderful 4 days and ca t wait to come back again.

We appreciated the thoroughness of details from the owners. They care for the property and it shows. It was one of the cleanest ones we've stayed in over the years. My 5 and 4 year old appreciated the books and Lincoln logs. My in-laws are in their 70s and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I appreciated the living area being away from sleeping quarters. Being an artist myself I enjoyed living in an art gallery for a few days. I left my own creation (Color Boise coloring book) as a "thank you" for the next guests! Thank you for a memorable weekend!

We enjoyed our stay. Especially the deer and 5 new fawns who stopped by twice a day. Close to everything we wanted to do. Great hosts.

Staying at Affirmation Cabin was such a lovely experience. The owner's art was displayed, along with tasteful decorations, making the stay even more enjoyable. Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, etc. Each room led into yet another beautiful room. Great location. We will be back! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

The Affirmation Cabin fit all our needs for my family of five which includes three teenagers. Plenty of room, very clean, nice location, easy access, and very helpful communication with the owners. I would highly recommend booking a stay here. You will not be disappointed.

We had a great time with our family at their cabin! Very quiet and comfortable. The community pool was great fun! The owners were great to work with!

Property owner sent information prior to our stay which made check in and the weekend a breeze. Everything in the kitchen was labeled which made an unfamiliar space easier to navigate. They had lots of kid-friendly games and provided the basics for being away from home. The bunkbedbedroom had lots of toys and blankets, The spiral staircase and the loft were also a big hit. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed a couple soaks in the hot tub in the evenings, and took advantage of sitting on the deck during the day. The proximity to the golf course, pool, clubhouse and tennis courts was very convenient. Strolling into town and the lake is the perfect distance to enjoy nature and fresh mountain air.
Brad was prompt to answer our questions and send the housekeeper for needed supplies. We look forward to staying at this charming cabin in the future.

Perfect place to stay when visiting McCall. House is located near golf course and short walk/drive to downtown. Very well maintained house with all needed amenities for our stay. Brad and Debbie answered all questions and were great hosts. Highly recommend to everyone visiting the area.

Cool art gallery house close to downtown McCall. Worked great for our 5 adults and 1 kiddo on a snowmobile trip.

The home was very comfortable and clean. Very beautifully decorated and cozy. It had everything we needed. The temperatures where very cold outside during our stay, so it would have been nice to be able to turn the heat up, but we managed. Will definitely stay here again if it is available.

We loved our experience at the Affirmation Cabin! I went for a girls weekend with a few friends and it was such a cozy, wonderful cabin to enjoy a winter weekend getaway. We loved the jacuzzi (just be careful on the steps - veryyyy icy getting in and out) and felt right at home! Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in McCall.

We had a great stay at the affirmation cabin! Everything was as described. The owners were great at communicating. When I mentioned it had snowed, he sent someone to clean off the driveway for us. The added Christmas decorations were so nice! We enjoyed hot tubbing and playing games by the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!
