Cute charismatic old cottage. Very warm. Very clean. Very comfy beds . Hosts very helpful. Everything was spotless.

No table to eat at for a family of four.

The location, warm and comfortable cottage with a very large walk in shower and fully equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the property was kept spotlessly clean. It was great base to explore Kent and East Sussex.

I kept hitting my head on the metal shade of the wall light in bedroom one, a flat light on the wall would be much safer. I worried about the small landing at the top of the stairs when getting up to use the toilet at night in the dark. The night light on the landing did not work.

Furnished and finished to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was immediately to hand. The cottage is in a quiet area but only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. This was ideal for us as we were attending and working at the Folk Festival over the weekend. Just big enough for the four of us.

For us there were no downsides.

Location

Op Booking.com is Saïd that there are towels. It is one towel per person. I called about that and the owner sai that this is normal in an air-bnb. That information is missing on booking.com. The owner had a good solution by bringing extra towels.

Needs a bit more thought about basics - no teapot, no milk jug etc
