Lovely cleaner met us on arrival, we left our luggage in the room as she was unaware we were checking in - very strange... and was still cleaning. We were happy to go out for an hour and come back. Communication with host was also good before check in. Location was quite good, bus outside the apartment and a 20 minute walk to Camden Town and Markets. Apartment was clean and living area was quite spacious. Well equipped kitchen.

There is a real problem with the hot water. Larger bathroom had hardly any warm water and the shower pressure was terrible. After getting in the shower, you were lucky to get 40 seconds of warm water to shower, water would go ice cold not appropriate for cold London weather. Smaller bathroom shower was so small, we couldn't fit in it, another problem in itself. Warm water again, very minimal. The water would go from hot to ice cold in 1-2 minutes. This inability to have a shower detracted from our overall stay. It is imperative for the comfort of paying guests that warm water is available. It is a basic necessity. We left for Australia without having a shower, not happy at all. Owner was notified early during our stay that hot water was a problem he said he would get someone to look at it, we didn't see anyone come, please ensure the comfort of future guests and get this sorted. Washing machine was also broken so we couldn't use it. A lot of outside noise, bus stop right outside bedroom window, hard to sleep.

Clean, comfortable

The initial code given was incorrect so we had some issues getting into the flat and couldn’t get hold of the host with the mobile provided. However, the host did the send us a text message with the correct code not long after.
