Great stay at Bodega Bay Beach home. The property is very close to the water, the view is amazing, you can even hear the waves and there is a house fairly close that blocked the wind. We loved the extra room with the pool table, allowed us to spread out and enjoy. The house had everything we needed, only 2 complaints were the showers, which worked, but with very light pressure and the TV in the main room wouldn't work, but otherwise wonderful stay. Would also recommend that you provide coffee and filters that fit the coffee maker. Ty for the late checkout!

Beautiful house with an amazing location. The two minute walk to the beach was absolutely perfect for our family. Nicely kept house with good amenities.

Loved the place before, loved it even more now. Superb upgrade in adding what used to be the garage game room into the house proper with a new TV, awesome lounges and all. Missed the ping pong table a little bit, but the "trade" for an all enclosed game and additional TV room was well worth it! Thanks again and looking forward to our next stay!

Look no further if you want THE BEST BEACH HOUSE in Bodega Bay!! We had a BLAST! Great location, FANTASTIC VIEWS and everything you need to have an amazing adventure. Seeing a family of deer every day was a real bonus. We WILL be back!!

The house was very nice and clean and there was enough space for everybody. However some simple things like coffee powder, hangers, and a hair dryer would have made the stay more comfortable.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at the beach house with delicious tarts from Nom Nom Cakes up the street. Everyone felt comfortable at the house, including our 15 year old dog. We spent most of our time relaxing at the house where the views are spectacular. We spotted whales while relaxing on the backyard deck and we saw the local deer everyday, we enjoyed hanging out with a Great Blue Heron hunting in the backyard, and we even spotted an Osprey carrying a freshly caught fish to its nest. We also enjoyed walking on Portuguese Beach and watching the sunset from the cliff at the end of the street. We even enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and meeting some of the nice neighbors and their dogs.

The location of the house is great and there is a wonderful view. The house itself is nice with a great viewing area to watch the ocean. The kitchen is very small but adequate. The electric fireplaces in two of the bedrooms continually hum but earplugs helped. So why the one star? My husband is an invalid and my daughter, so-in-law and I arrived looking for a relaxing time together. Check in is at 4PM and we were happy to look out and see a field of wildflowers and grasses outside the house. We decided, since checkout is early at 10AM, to stay in on Saturday morning and relax on the deck. The host sent a quick note letting us know the gardener would be coming on Saturday AM but shouldn't interfere with us too much. As it turned out the gardeners were outside with large weedwackers for at least four hours. The noise was awful and we couldn't sit on the deck. It was even hard to enjoy being inside with all the noise. We finally gave up and left, only to find pieces of weeds all over the side of the car. I sent the host a note and he said we could stay another day. We weren't able to do that so I suggested a discount. That was not an option. We couldn't understand why this work wasn't scheduled on their time instead of ours. We also thought there was some incongruity between the religious quotes and books in the house and the total disregard for our feelings and needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family retreat at this beautiful beach house just minutes from Bodega Bay. From almost every aspect of this property, there are fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, and just steps to Portuguese Beach (one of the best in the region!) We were treated to a doe and her two fawn grazing in the backyard, wildflowers abound and the sounds of waves crashing throughout the night. This spacious house is well appointed with comfy mattresses and couches. We enjoyed the back deck with unobstructed views of the ocean. All kitchen essentials provided allow for home cooked meals. And the pool table was an added bonus! We will definitely booked future stays.

This home was exactly what we needed as a family to relax and reconnect. It was clean and the perfect size for my parents, brother, myself and my two kids. The best part was the amazing views and the proximity to the beach. I don’t think I could get tired of the view! It’s a great getaway spot and the host is quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely come back.

We got my parents this VRBO as a Christmas gift. The home was clean and cozy. My mom really wanted to bring the dogs so we could take them to the dog beach right across the street. Rick was responsive and very helpful. We will definitely book again!

We celebrated our family Christmas in this beautiful place -ideally located within walking distance of a dog-friendly beach and the living space featuring fabulous water views. There was access to plenty of activities and amenities to keep everyone happy. Communication with the property owner was promptly responded to and we would definitely return!

My wife and I invited her parents for a relaxing getaway to this amazing house. We were all very excited when we walked in to see the breathtaking views of Portuguese Beach. We happened to go during a terrible storm, so we were content to just stay inside and enjoy the house. Everything from the couches to beds were cozy and clean. The dinner table is beautiful; it’s a great place to gather to enjoy a fire and take in the amazing views. We would like to go back when the weather is better so we can sit outside on the deck and walk down the street to the beach. We had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to return.

The property was very nice and clean. It was in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. No complaints (other than that there was no carafe that fit the coffee maker and it would have been nice to have washcloths for the kitchen and bathrooms) I would definately rent the home again.

The view was amazing as was the location. The seating area had a beautiful handmade table and benches, not practical for dining or playing cards. The kitchen a little small for three people that like to cook.

Beautiful view. Beautiful kitchen table. The refrigerator was dirty. The stove and stovetop were dirty.The floors were dirty. I spilled my water bottle and took a paper towel to wipe it up and it was black. The house was renovated with really cheap materials. Not one person slept well. The beds were terrible as was the bedding. They were old. Paid over two thousand dollars for not even a two day stay. Extremely dissappointed and feel like I got ripped off. Iweve stayed at other rentals and have NEVER had a complaint.
