The owners were very nice. The room was dark and damp. We had to request towels every day. We had to request to have our sheets changed. Thats okay, but im used to the housekeeping coming in daily. That wasnt the case with this motel. They only came in on the day we requested our sheets be changed. They were drying towels on an old porch swing frame. Not very sanitary. I would never stay there again.

Cheap old-fashioned Motel. Expensive ($161) but we stayed on a weekend night during the summer so there was limited choice...
It really is just a cheap motel. The staircase was rickety, there was trash under the stairs, the exterior maintenance was below average.
Next time I will spend more at a more modern hotel.
Overall it was acceptably clean but really a budget standard.

Apparently clean is not a high priority. Floors were filthy, cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom. Bedspread had stains on it (hope the sheets were clean). Manager is a nice guy but they need to step up cleaning.

Room smelled like moth balls and the water did not work. I could not take a shower. When i asked to get a discount on the room,the manager said he will have to call his boss than call me. Very poor.

you can hear riight through the wall, someone on the upper floors was walking back and fourth at 3.00am and sounded like they were doing construction or something..

Let me just start by saying that I let the staff know that I would be arriving way after check-in time and they were very helpful when I got there and throughout my stay.
However, the room was dirty and smelled of mold, mildew and smoke even though it was listed as a non-smoking room. Many items were in disrepair and overall it was not a pleasurable stay.

The motel is ideally located near Foxwoods, Mystic and the Rhode Island beaches. The rooms are always clean and reasonably priced.

The staff were great. Everything was clean. Walls are on the thin side. No complimentary coffee/tea, but Dunkin is one minute away. You will enjoy your stay as long as you aren’t expecting the Ritz.

Our room was permeated with stale cigarette smoke. (People who smoke in nonsmoking rooms are rotten!) It’s a modest place but was quiet and fine for a night.
