Property was very clean but much smaller than expected. No chair or table in the room. Parking is not possible right beside your cabin so, although it wasn’t too far, it was a bit of a struggle with all my luggage pushing it downhill on arrival and uphill when leaving in the cart provided. Great to have the private beach so close. Staff in the restaurant were outstanding.

Huts nestled into lush rainforest, Cape Tribulation Beach House is a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You are forced to disconnect from everything as there is no Wifi or even television. The restaurant serves a good variety of reasonably priced food and the pool is a refreshing dip under a green canopy. Pack earplugs though as the adjoining rooms can be a bit noisy.

This is a fabulous property in a fabulous location. Its amazingly nice. The restaurant is very good, all meals were excellent, service great and it was great value. Given its remoteness and how expensive it must be to run an establishment here, we found everything to be surprisingly affordable.

Great location. Easy beach & dining access. Unfortunately rrom is small & tired - needs an upgrade. (Cracked sink, shower water ended up all over the bathroom, insufficiend space for clothes & bags

Just need to warn people of the walk from the car park to the restaurant. But overall we had a wonderful three nights. Bed was amazing and was very peaceful

The shower door was in need of some maintenance but other than that no complaints. Loved the shared deck and having a drink poolside. Drove all over the place looking for cassowaries and ended up seeing a dad and young one 10m from our front door. Great holiday.

I booked this place for our family for a single night so wasn’t fussy about it. The location is great as you’re in the nature with lots of wild life, we saw pigs, cassowaries and other wild life. The accommodation is basic so don’t expect much. One of the beds in our room didn’t have the bed sheets changed as they had sand / hair on them from a previous guest. I hope this was a mistake.

Our stay was just perfect, the rooms were fairly basic as expected but clean and welcoming (the queen bed was super comfortable).
We ran out of coffee and toilet paper but its only a short trip to reception/bar to put everything right.
The resort is perfectly located, surrounded by rainforest and beach. The food and service at the bar/restaurant was superb.

Nice place to get away from the crowds. The lodge was enjoyable to stay in. Tranquil. Haven't had the chance to try the restaurant, but the menu looked good, althought pricey.
We weren't informed of the lack of wifi, which complicated our research for the following day (no cellular network also).
Would recommend.

A nice quiet retreat next to a beautiful beach and surrounded with amazing rainforest.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The accommodation was very small and basic for the price but luckily the surroundings made up for it.

Great room. Depending on what room you have it could get a little noisy if you have noisy neighbors since some have 3~4 rooms sharing walls. The Tide Resturants is amazing one of the best food we have had. We got the special, crispy salmon and chefs bowl with barramundi. So good so we had it again the next night. Non of the other Resturants open for dinner looked that great.

Enjoyed our stay. Easy beach access and a wonderful restaurant. Food was excellent. Great chef and lovely service from the staff.
