Toilet was still dirty. Looked like they just clean the top and that was it. It had Dookie on it. Took 15 minutes or more for the hot water to get hot so that you could shower even washing your hands.

Overall the stay was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The couches were super old and uncomfortable. I was told multiple times that i could request late check out the last day in the morning but when i asked that morning i was told "we dont offer late cneck out". So that was disappointing.

This was our second time staying at this location and it didn’t disappoint. The location was very clean and we loved having a kitchen.

It was a great family room. The room was big enough for the four of us. And it was not far from all the main boardwalk and the beach was right there.

We are repeat customers at Sandy Beach and highly recommend it. We stayed in an 1-bedroom Oceanfront room. It doesn't seem right to call it a room... it's like a condo or apartment. We couldn't have asked for more. In our room, the bedroom was a separate room that you did not need to pass through. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked, so we were able to make our meals and tea. If you're looking to save money and have some good quality meals, you have everything that you need here: a large fridge, oven/stove, microwave, a dishwasher, and many pots/pans/utensils/plates/glasses/etc. The bathroom is large with very generous counter and storage space. The living/dining area has a table for eating, a couch and chair to watch the large TV, and a Murphy bed if needed. The balcony is spacious and the view is EXCELLENT...especially for sunrises. Within minutes, you can be down on the beach and are within walking distance of the boardwalk and many other attractions. The resort has multiple pools including a large one for kids. Our room was so homey and comfortable. With a room like this, you can just relax in your room or on the balcony and feel like you have a home right on the ocean. This was not our first time staying at Sandy Beach, and we sure hope it isn't the last!

Beautiful resort. Needs some updates here and there. Wanted to relax in the bathtub in our room. Noticed it has a different shade of white on the sides versus the bottom. Touched it, and it was DIRT. Who tub sides were dirty. Cleaned it myself with dish soap and wash cloth. So at least it’s left better for the next guess. Updated stainless steel appliances were nice. AC worked great in both rooms. Looks like nice new title floors. Balcony could use new carpet (or no carpet). But the views amazing, even from the third floor. Multiple pools and hot tubs was nice on a busy afternoon. Plenty of space to spread out in the waters or the lounge chairs. Walking distance to a small (over priced = $17 for sunscreen) general store, and bars and restaurants. Little amusement like park across the street. Will stay again, just prepare myself with cleaning products.

We stayed at a more upscale (higher priced) resort for the weekend and moved to Sandy Beach on Tuesday. We stayed 3 nights there and actually enjoyed it more, not to mention it was a third of the price. At the other place we had a king and pullout couch. At Sandy Beach, we had 2 queens and a full Murphy bed. Definitely will visit and stay here again! Staff was great! Pools were always clean, relaxing and also, the beach access was perfect!

We loved the condo. We were right on the beach. With a view of the beach from our 7th floor room, There are no restaurants in the building and parking was across the street. We plan on going back next year.

The hotel is a basic individual owner rental condo, rooms and hallways are worn and dated but clean. Staff and Managers make the guest feel like owners. Parking can be a challenge if you special needs, no real onsite parking. But there is parking at your own risk

Terrific stay at an excellent location on the beach! Outdoor pool area was exquisite... well maintained with fantastic furniture. All the conveniences of home provided in the unit which was very spacious. Only downside was the location of parking. You have to cross busy Ocean Blvd. to walk to the very deep parking lot. It is great that it is free, but for folks with any walking impairments, it is a trek! It would've been nice to know that before booking.

This property is in a great location but the hotel was not very clean and was in need of significant upgrades. They tried to cover it up by spraying some disinfectant which had a very strong odor. I would venture to go elsewhere next time.

I like the property being smoke free. The hotel was clean and close to the airport. Would have been nice to have a restaurant or food establishment in the hotel/area. The hotel is a little outdated.

Came here for the ocean view and boy did it deliver! Furnishings were older. Bed was great. House keeping was great and so was check in.

Great spot to stay in. The middle of the strand and walking distance to almost everything. Lots of children activity in this area. I would stay here again.

Secure and clean

My husband had stayed here before and really liked the room he had. This time he said the room wasn't as nice. We had a one bedroom and although it had everything we needed it did seem a little dated and just kind of blah. The living room part was fine. The bathroom was ok, kind of dated but the shower and everything worked properly. The kithchen was right outside the bathroom and looked fine. We didn't use any of the appliances but they appeared to be in good shape. The staff was fine. Overall it was a good place to stay.
