The bathroom for our room (302) is quite small but manageable.

The room was a 'comfort' room. There weren't any drawers so we whatever couldn't be hung up had to stay in the suitcases. The skirting board was broken in some places and badly repaired in others. How difficult is it to replace a broken skirting board and the paint it in a colour that matches the room? Our room was in an 'annexe', across the road from the hotel. Had I known there was an annexe and that we might be in it I wouldn't have booked the hotel. Inevitably, it was raining when we had to cross the road for breakfast.

Nearby bars can be very noisy late into night. No kettle in room. Parking garage has very narrow spaces between concrete walls.

Le Touquet is crowded with very narrow streets and virtually no parking in the centre which is where the Red Fox is located so we were grateful for the hotels parking facility even at 15 Euros per night. Being central there are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance.

Our room was miniscule and the bathroom even smaller. Access to the shower was a trial, and once in there was hardly space to turn round. There were few people staying in the hotel and there were plenty of much larger rooms available but it appeared the management filled up the four small overpriced bedrooms at 3rd floor level. At 133 Euros,the Red Fox was the most expensive overnight stop by a long way on our travels through France matched only by the most expensive mediocre breakfast at 14 Euros. No second visit envisaged!.

Excellent location for bars, cafes and beach.

Bath was very slippery.
